WHY THE RESUME?

A couple of posts ago, I posted my "Catholic credentials". There was no intention to defend myself. Earlier that day I received a call from "the visitors" asking to see me. I accepted the invitation.

I was advised by a friend to let them know who I was ahead of time. For, though they may know my blog and thus know what I think, they didn't know who I was. So I told them ahead of time. And I told you too.

This morning I met with "the visitors". I thanked them for the opportunity. All I can say is that they have a job to do, and so do we. Personally, I shall remain vigilant.

Good night...at least for a few hours.

  1. Good for you! You deserved an audience with them. Now they will see you are a devout, reasonable and responsible man. I hope your mutual discussion results in healing for our local Catholic Church.

  2. I'm afraid they are asking and/or telling people to be obedient regardless. If so, it reminds me of the documentary I watched. .. FRONTLINE: SECRETS OF THE VATICAN. Although this documentary is of another nature, how they process things scares the daylights out of me.

I see the request to be obedient as be quiet and don't say anything or else. Sad, if this was the case.

At any rate, I'm glad they asked to meet with you. Just not so sure of the outcome.

Claire at 1:38 AM, I'm sure you expressed what many of us felt when we read this post. Late last month, on 31 December, Tim had informed us via No Appointment Slots Available that he had "received a call … from the Chancery advising (him) that there were no appointment slots available to meet with the Apostolic Visitators." I'm sure AAA and Minions, "The Dianas" and fans were doing their Happy Dances around their tables.

"The Dianas" and Zoltan also were crowing about how the presence of the Apostolic Visitators would prove that the Vatican did not care about what Tim Rohr had to say in his blog as well as allow the NCW to present their side since the NCW also has auditors. Although efforts were made to ensure that people not in the NCW were left out in the cold, this move by the delegation to reach out to Tim must have been such a disappointment to them and their fellow Kikos/Kikobots. I guess "The Dianas" and Zoltan both underestimated how important JungleWatch and its Administrator are in the process of healing of the division in our Archdiocese.

    2. That's not Tim you're hearing. It's your conscience. Tim and a good conscience sound similar. You should listen.

    3. And by the visitor's request to meet with Tim despite Apuron's attempt to the contrary, you might have your wish soon. It's simple. All the pope needs to do is denounce the NCW activities that have occurred here on Guam and remove Apuron from office. Not much left to argue about after that.

  8. May God continue to strengthen you and may the holy spirit continue to guide you as the faithful are continuously enlightened. My faithful parents are avid JW readers. My dad wanted me to comment that Tim really does roar.
