SOUNDS LIKE BRAGGING TO ME

"I don't know how many girls I've taken advantage of..." - the neo witness of Gabriel Camacho

  1. I would be very uncomfortable to go to him for confession or spiritual advise knowing of his past. Will he take advantage of me? His past experiences is not something we can just overlook. Would he also take advantage of young girls and boys? If you went for an interview and you had a history like his, I don't think he would be hired. Are all neos like this?

  2. Shame on him and the neo's if that's "The Way", I know you are not the work of God...

  3. So he wants to become a priest because he took advantage of all these women? As a priest, he has the perfect cover to continue his leacherous ways.

    1. Absolutely correct 7:28. It's the perfect cover for this predator.

  4. Father Ray Carey Ph.D. Screens at Mt. Angel Seminary. He said a period of at least 7 Years of celibacy is needed to come to study. But, never mind, seems RMS does not believe. God loves them just as they are!! Guam will be a mine field of irresponsible men posing as presbyters. Perhaps already is!

  5. Gabe - Are you wanting to be a priest? Wow! You've got balls! Sounds to me like the fella who's applying to work for a bank, but advising the folks at the bank that he's a kleptomaniac? Good luck!

    1. How well do you know your parish priest? Do you believe that every single priest had an innocent life before the priest hood? No.

    2. Yet we have witnessed RMS seminarians without the proper spiritual, psychological and theological foundation still conferred with Holy Orders -- what's to prevent this from happening again under the current leadership of the Archdiocese?

    3. To 9:54. It is not a matter of the life one led before becoming a priest or before getting married. It is a matter of respect for the hearers, and in this particular case, for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, which was yet ongoing. Who's to say that someone's teenage son, already battling with raging hormones, was not excited by the mere thought of "having" as many women as Gabriel says he had, regardless of the context of the comment? It is simply a matter of propriety and respect. There is also another matter, and perhaps a priest can give it a name, but the resurrecting of past sins, especially those which have been forgiven, is possibly its own sin...or an occasion for it.

    4. And P.S. what about the girls who he "had". What about the hurt that they might feel hearing the man who "had" them talk about it publicly. Simply no respect. But we're used to that from these people.

    5. If Gabriel joined the Way at 13, then those women he said he took advantage could very likely have been in in the Way!

    6. Tim is so right on issues. It is not just about what Gabe Camacho said it is about the issues surrounding his statement. (1) why were loyal Catholics who attend Sunday mass subjected to listening to this trash. (2) what about the young men who heard him who are fworriwd about their own sexual hormones.(3) what about respect for relationships and self respect. This is not about what the idiot said because frankly i think he made up the account because Pius gets a high from these kind of stories. Infact I even know these kind of accounts give him a high. This is about respect. No self respecting citizen talks like this young man. Not acceptable to do this in a mass with young children.

  6. Gabriel Camacho, I'm so happy that you've found God along the path of your life. You're testimony not being exact, including your family members without giving them the benefit of the doubt. Like you say "You are an angry person." Anger can change a person to view what's meant to be good to totally the opposite. Suppose you're family did love you all along. You were just blind to see it.

  7. I wonder if Chuck would be able to give his thoughts regarding the discussion on the "Exodus", around page 250 of the first volume of the Catechetical Directory? Here, Kiko carries on a dialogue with a few people present at the catechesis, wherein he asks them two questions - "Where are you?" (ie in slavery in Egypt; in the wilderness; or in the promised land), and "Who is your Moses?".

It is an interesting and revealing read, watching how Kiko leads these people to the "right" answers - "I am in slavery in Egypt", "My Moses is this catechist brother who invited me tonight", or "My Moses is [a certain concrete event or person] that caused me to be at the catechesis".

Kiko seems to create a "magic door", the password being "I am in slavery in Egypt", thereby denying, or at least belittling the neocatechumen's prior baptism, which in the opinion of the Church Fathers is symbolised scripturally in the crossing of the Red Sea.

It seems to me that the denial of baptism is important in the NCW, as the first steps of the "Walk" are figured as the descent into the waters of baptism where the "old man" is left behind. Of course, for the baptised, this has already occurred and therefore the emphasis of catechesis should be rather different. But for Kiko and the NCW, the denial of baptism is necessary in their assertion that the regular Church is useless, and we have an infantile and pagan faith.

    1. We should all be happy if anyone turns from fornication and drunkenness. That should be clear. But discerning a call to the priesthood takes time, and these sins would certainly distort the process, unless chastity and sobriety were practiced for several years prior to entrance into the seminary.

It's been suggested that Camacho might have "overstated" or exaggerated his dissolute life style. If that is the case, then he lied to us from the pulpit. Pick your poison.

    2. Thank you chuck. . I am puzzled why would archbishop allow a seminarian or anyone to make such a speech at a Mass. if camacho want to share his trivia with others another venue should be used. Not everyone wants to hear this kind of thinking when attending Mass.

  8. Let none of us ever be accused of casting the first stone. We all have our failings and temptations so be it said that no one dares to be self-righteous. That said, I believe that if this Gabriel Camacho was indeed called by the Holy Spirit to discern a possible vocation to the priesthood, he has failed to heed this call with humility. He will preach himself and flaunt his escapades of "sucking the juice" of vulnerable prey. He is bragging indeed, and needs to think twice whether he is going to be an asset to the Church or another of apuron's sickening liabilities.

  9. Gospel message is proclaimed to liberate us from the very evil that Anthony Apuron is proclaiming on Guam.

  10. I believe that when one is truly contrite and sorry about his/her past life of sin, the individual will not parade around announcing it. As well, this may cause scandal to other people who are trying to walk with God.

    1. I think it depends on the way you look at it.

Announcing it can also who proof that God works with those with great sin. Some people need to be reminded of that.

    2. There is no issue with honest conversion stories (if this was honest). The issue is violating the Mass to do it. But then that's the Archbishop's fault. But then there is also this:

"Jesus Christ, loves me, just the way I am. I don’t need to be good."

      That's a problem.

    3. Every time I read "Jesus Christ, loves me, just the way I am. I don’t need to be good," it reminds me of a young ex-practicing Catholic man who joined the Protestant "Born Again" church down the street. He has two children by two different women. He feels no need to pay child support, and help raise his children. Instead he doesn't work, drinks, and spends his time hanging with his friends and other women. He has been "saved" because he accepts Jesus as his savior and thus will be forgiven for his sins and receive salvation. No need to get his act together and try to be a better person. Ugh!

  11. "Hello, My name is Gabe." Those seated around him say in unison, "Hi Gabe" "I am a drunkard, a fornicator, a blasphemer...but that's ok, coz I think you all are too. I believe that mankind (and women too) are low forms and now that I am in the way, it is cool with God." I wonder if Kiko and Carmen are going to buy the rights to Bruno Mars, "Just the Way You Are" Bye Gabe, you are headed for a long, troubled life and I and others will pray for you to find yourself, your real self in the Grace of our Lord.

    1. Gabe is not worth our time. Young man has much to learn about life. What is important is to study the practices, customs, of this cult. Practices manifest the deep psychological agenda of the cult by which they keep comtrol of members. Gabe Camacho would not advance to ordination unless he makes these kind of presentations. Pius & Apuron expect seminarians to speak like Gabe. They want to hear the details of a cult member. It gives them a sense of pleasure happiness. This is how sick it all is.

    2. Yes. It is sick. And they think it's all a necessary part of the conversion process since they "know what's best" and "mean well".

I know all about this NCW practice. It's one of many reasons why I left the NCW years ago. Glad to continue this conversation if anyone wants to do that here. I'm super concerned and have been for a long time.

  13. Heard there's another ordination coming up. Another one from RMS becoming a transitional deacon, then next step .... priest come November.

    1. Yes, Pedro Luis Durango will be ordained a transitional deacon on Valentine's Day 2015. It's regrettable that he's NCW because he seems very serious, mature and sincere. He would be good priest material for the real Catholic Church. In the Catholic Umatuna Si Yu'os paper he states his father was involved with gangs, drugs, killings and robberies in Pedro's native Colombia. I guess the NCW seemed to be a better alternative to the Colombian drug cartels. Too bad he can't see that they both share the same objectives of greed, coercion and control.

    2. The real question is why is Apuron stealing young men from other countries? Perhaps enticing them with "Come to America", to your Seminary by the Sea. What? Don't the home countries of these boys needs priests? How selfish to rob these countries of their native vocations.

    3. Tim, these young men (and a few older) have come to Guam to give you a chance to be EVANGELIZED! Accept the offer. You seem to need it. Enter into the NEW EVANGELIZATION. Take your time. They will be in Yona in perpetuity!

    5. to anon at 1.48, your comment sounds scary and quite parallel to the science fiction novella from Hollywood, "Starship Enterprise" when the cyborgs tell to their victim: " all resistance is futile, we are superior, all resistance is futile"
Whoa!!! How can somebody get brainwashed so thoroughly by a religious sect, is beyond comprehension!!!
Ultimately you will have to answer for your choice and your attempts to destroy Christ's own Church.
Repent before it is too late. Neither Carmen nor Kiko will save you from the eternal fire, they just will hasten your demise.
We shall pray that your soul can be saved, despite yourself.

  15. Yesterday at mass in Talofofo, a seminarian spoke right before the final blessing. It seems that this is the accepted practice. He spoke how he misses the embrace of a woman and partying. But since he found God in the seminary he is able to fight of those demons. He is a 22 yrs old and has been in the seminary for 5 yrs. It looks like this the norm to become a seminarian. He even used the word freakin on the place where the Word is proclaimed. Now the bishop is coming for his dog and pony show on Wed.

  16. This seminarian needs to learn much. He subscribes to Manichean dualism which places spiritual and material realities at odds with each other. I hope the seminary he is in fully educates him on the dangers of this philosophy. Women are not the enemy, it is him and his integrity. In fact, one has to be fully immersed and aware of the human condition because we are not wingless angels that are apart from earthly reality.

  17. 7.22am . I know you are reporting on what you heard. Can we determine if this seminarian really believes the embrace of a woman is evil. In times passed I did hear Fr.Pius make similar statements to this seminarian. Should this be taught in a catholic seminary it really is very alarming. Pius seems very anti women as as well as homophobia. Serious questions need to be asked on what Pius is teaching. Souds to me he needs to learn the theology of the body by St.John Paul two. Tim, your daughter can teach theology better than these seminarians priests.
