PLEASE ADVISE AT SOONEST

  1. Send it to the legislature via Respicio's office. It is totally separate from the abortion bills. This is the lesson: they are people and sure we have disagreements, but we must work with them. If you don't feel comfortable, send it to the Attorney General.

    1. If I don't hear from the police within a few days, I'll be sending my next letter to quite a few people.

  2. Sue them! It's a crime for the Chief not to respond. Better yet, file a police report! Ha

  3. It becomes sadly obvious, as we suspected that the GPD and its chief, are at a loss on how to answer.
If the situation was clear and without issues, there would not be any problem.
There must be something really wrong if an American police Department cannot answer in the four mandated days,( now 18) to a simple request.
Either the Chief is covering up or he is totally inept.
    Which one is it?
    We are waiting anxiously.
May be the mainstream media should start asking the same questions.

    1. I do not think the Chief is covering anything up, nor do I believe him to be inept.....or at least I hope not. Patience is a virtue.

    2. There is a LAW that requires timely respond and 18 days is just a violation of the LAW. Chief enforce the Law as you are required to comply.

    3. Dear Raymond,
Patience is indeed a virtue, this is why Tim waited an extra 14 days past the original deadline, before pushing his request forward.
You know what the adage says about opinion....but I shall not go there, since it would be particularly inappropriate in this case.
Actions (or in this case inactions) speak louder than words.
If there is not anything to hide, why not come forward?
The Taxpayer of Guam, Catholic or not have the expectation that their hard earned money is well spent, and that police rules are followed equally for everybody.

The overtime pay snafu puts a big question mark on the first item, we should know soon about the second item.
The fact that several top Cadre of the GPD have strong relationship with Mr Santo Tomas, who despite his momentary distance still has very strong influence here on Guam, is in itself enough of an issue, for anybody with half a brain to question the actions and/or declarations of the GPD.
      Hence the scrutiny.
Shall you wish to remain with your head in the sand in that matter, like many did in the matter of the archbishop over the last few years, you will bear responsibility in any actions taken by the chief in the name of the people of Guam.
This is not something to be taken lightly at any level.
This goes at the core of how our official institutions are used and managed in our name.

    4. Fenchie,

Thank you for your candid view of the situation regarding the FOIA, but I would like to ask you, because you are stating ......."The fact that several top Cadre of GPD have strong relationship with Mr. Santo Tomas....." Do you have proof of this? If you do, bring this up with the proper authority (The AG's office) as this would really bring to light your accusation of possible corruption within the ranks of GPD.

I don't put my head in the sand. I speak my mind and that's how I roll. Please tell me as to your quote of "me" bearing responsibility in any action taken by the chief. If that was a general statement, then please state it as such. I have no power over the chief or to what he chooses to do.

My apologies Tim, I did not mean to detract from the issue at hand. And to Frenchie, if you wish to discuss this further with me, get ahold of Tim. He knows who I am and can give you my contact information.

If you want proof, watch the Legislature's channel.

He will never be a Guthertz, Ishizaki, Aguon, Marquez,Torre, Sgambelluri and how he stays Chief is baffling.

  7. The Chief of Police, Fred Bordallo, is not just inept or covering up. By his actions to date, he is BOTH!

  8. FBI (Fred Bordallo Inept) ran out of overtime money to make the call or to respond. Gov. you need to replace the Chief. He is a total embarrassment to your Administration. Not getting good customer service here which is one of your priority just like Payless
