    1. Please attend. You owe it to yourself to know what's going on then you can decide. :)

    2. Anon at 10:48 AM -- It's understandable that you may have been told this to keep you away, but it simply is not true. In fact there are some who are in the NCW that do attend these CCOG meetings.
Granted, there has been initial leeriness, they have always been treated with respect and openness. The sad reality is that those attending NCW members have been subjected to harassment, intimidation and interrogation for attending these forums, by their NCW catechist, responsibles and even fellow community members!

Everyone is welcome to these meetings. Everyone. There is much to be discovered, and I am sure that the enlightenment you experience may even help you to speak with your sister with true knowledge rather than hearsay.

    3. You should also make an effort to invite your sister. There is usually a question and answer period and you are welcome to pose questions to the presenters.

Anon at 10:48. You are most certainly welcome. No one should feel unwelcome, and as Tim says, it is not about the individual members, but about the abuses that are taking place by the institution. How wonderful it would be if your sister had a perspective she may not have seen to this point. I have said many times that if we really expect the neo to change, it has to change from within. Good members have to speak out about the abuses that threaten to ruin the movement they love. Good members need to regulate the institution rather than allowing the institution to regulate them. Good members need to know the neo is not the Church, but that they still belong to the Church.

What a blessing it would be if you could help your sister see a reality that may have been missed in community. I pray for you both.

  3. All are welcome....Its the only way to learn the truth. "That's how it is with Gods love...once you experience it.....spread his love and joy....you want to pass it on"

    1. At every meeting I always make an effort to say "If you are in the ncw, this is not about you." We aren't targeting individuals in the ncw, we are targeting demonstrable errors and abuses of power.

    2. You don't target the individuals but you generalize the kind of people we are. And you allow others to do the same. Target the problem and do not generalize the people in the NcW as if you know them head to toe.

    3. Yes I do generalize. Come to the next meeting and prove me wrong.

    4. No need to go to your meetings Tim. The "no action" already proved you to be wrong.

    5. LOL. You're still judging by your worldly standard. A typical Kiko. LOL.
