A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "IT'S ACTUALLY QUITE SIMPLE":This must be what the KAKA filled Zombie on the Dungbats blog was talking about.

The notion that all rites in the church must be uniform is a fallacy since the existence of the various rites in the Roman Catholic Church allows for a variation of expressions of liturgical rites. Since the 1st millennium there has existed a variety of orthodox and unorthodox liturgical practices. The poor folks in the jungle are in for a rude awakening.

*****
LUKE 17:1-2 He said to his disciples, “Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the person through whom they occur. It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.
There is a special place in hell for clergy who lead the "little ones" astray, and the above response was written by a member of the clergy.  I'm sure we all know who.

Of course, it was written to justify the aberrant liturgical practices of the Neocatechumenal Way. And, since for them the ends always justifies the means, it doesn't matter (at least for now) that the above is a blatant lie designed to mislead. But it will matter one day soon for "woe to the person through whom (sin) occurs."

To the members of the Neocatechumenal Way who still care about your salvation and the salvation of your children: Depart from these liars and traffickers in scandal.  Educate yourself!

I refer you to the article at EWTN entitled CATHOLIC RITES AND CHURCHES, which you should study in full. Meanwhile here is the condensed version:
When the apostles brought the Gospel to the major cultural centers of their day the essential elements of religious practice were inculturated into those cultures. This means that the essential elements were clothed in the symbols and trappings of the particular people, so that the rituals conveyed the desired spiritual meaning to that culture.
There are three major groupings of Rites based on this initial transmission of the faith, the Roman, the Antiochian (Syria) and the Alexandrian (Egypt). Later on the Byzantine derived as a major Rite from the Antiochian...From these four derive the over 20 liturgical Rites present in the Church today.
The Church of Rome is the Primatial See of the world and one of the five Patriarchal Sees of the early Church (Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem). After the Council of Trent it was necessary to consolidate liturgical doctrine and practice in the face of the Reformation.
Thus, Pope St. Pius V imposed the Rite of Rome on the Latin Church (that subject to him in his capacity as Patriarch of the West), allowing only smaller Western Rites with hundreds of years of history to remain. Younger Rites of particular dioceses or regions ceased to exist.
The "smaller Western Rites with "hundreds of years of history" which were allowed to remain are:
  • Mozarabic - The Rite of the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal)
  • Ambrosian - The Rite of the Archdiocese of Milan, Italy
  • Bragan – Rite of the Archdiocese of Braga, the Primatial See of Portugal
  • Dominican – Rite of the Order of Friars Preacher (OP), founded by St. Dominic
  • Carmelite – Rite of the Order of Carmel
  • Carthusian – Rite of the Carthusian Order
You will note that there is no Neocatechumenal Way "rite," nor can there ever be, since the above "smaller rites" were only allowed to remain because they had "hundreds of years" of history.

The Neocatechumenal Way is under the authority of the Church of Rome. Thus did the Church of Rome ORDER the Neocatechumenal Way in 2005 to conform its liturgy to the liturgical books, i.e. the Rite of Rome:
From Vatican City, December 1, 2005

To the esteemed Mr. Kiko Argüello, Ms. Carmen Hernandez, and Rev. Father Mario Pezzi,

Following the conversations with this Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments on the celebration of the Most Holy Eucharist in the communities of the Neocatechumenal Way, in keeping with the guidelines issued in the meeting with you on November 11 of this year, I am to inform you of the Holy Father’s decisions.

The letter then lays out six liturgical problems of the NCW that were to be remedied, and concluded with :

In short, the Neocatechumenal Way, in its celebration of the Holy Mass, should follow the approved liturgical books...

As is well known and documented, Kiko Arguello refused to comply with the ORDER, and the following month, Archbishop Apuron publicly backed Kiko Arguello against the pope when on Catholic Radio station KOLG, Apuron challenged the credentials of the Cardinal Prefect and to our horror, turned the order to abandon the NCW liturgical variations into a permission to continue them:
"It is the first time in the history of the church that we were given permissions for the variations that is being done in the Neo Catechumenal Way, officially by the pope."

- Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron, Archbishop of Agana, Guam, January 2006. Audio here. Transcript here.

At this point, Archbishop Apuron ceased to be the Archbishop of Agana, not just because he publicly rejected papal authority, but because - as you can see and hear on the transcript and audio file, he publicly identified himself as a member of the Neocatechumenal Way and under the authority of Kiko Arguello. From that moment on, we were right to reject his authority and question everything he said and did.

Ultimately though, this rejection of papal authority is rooted in Kiko Arguello's teaching that the Catholic Church apostatized with the Constantine in the 4th Century and was only restored by Kiko Arguello when he founded the NCW during the period of Vatican II (1962-1965).

KIKO’S HISTORY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Kiko uses the "cover" of Vatican II since he needs it for legitimacy. But what Kiko really means by Vatican Council II is the beginning of his Neocatechumenal Way and his own personal "coming" as the Second Christ. This is why he has a penchant for altering the face of Christ to match his own:

Kiko's painting of the Good Shepherd

This is rather ridiculous since in real life, Kiko classically resembles Satan, not Christ:

Now, back to Kiko's "history of the church," as you can see from Kiko's own timeline posted above, there is no history of the Church between Constantine and his own arrival in the early 60's. This permits him (and the priest who wrote the above note) to discard the Council of Trent - which they hate. In fact, it permits him and all of his followers to completely trash over 1,600 years of church history and eliminate the Authority of the Keys entirely.

This is why the above anonymous neo-cleric says that there are a variety of rites that have existed from the beginning and - in his mind - continue to exist, thus giving license for him and KAKA-brained neo-cult followers to invent their own.

The fact is that ROME, after the Council of Trent, and under the authority of the Successor of Peter and Holder of The Keys, consolidated all of the "rites" of the Church into one Roman Rite, permitting only a few to remain, and abolishing all the rest.

But since Kiko Arguello DOES NOT ACCEPT the authority of Rome - and completely discards the Church after Constantine - he and his diseased followers are NOT Catholic.  As proven over and over, they are impostors and leeches who have wormed their way into the halls of Church power via the rotting souls of decaying prelates and vengeful clerics who couldn't make it through seminary summer school.

God Almighty says, “‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is only a loud noise” (Jeremiah 46:17), but the Church is forever. Tim Rohr cannot destroy it.

  2. Kiko is Satan. Everything about him, including his teachings are evil! He tells his followers to follow him and takes them away from their families. He turns priests into demons and shepherds into puppets. NEO: New Evil Ordinary.

  3. the neocats try to pitch their liturgy as another valid rite among the various rites of the Catholic Church. this is so far from the truth that it's insulting to the rites that actually are valid and come from a long tradition.

we have to keep repeating this: the ncw is a cult. on top of that, it centers on a cult of personality. for your own soul, get out of it now.

  4. Excellent and concise expose.
All the fallacies propagated by Kiko and his ilks, are just that, fallacies.
It does explain their constant and ever growing need for reinforcement, because they have to justify anything and everything they do.
This is the problem with lies, you always have to rationalize and justify, specially when faced with evidence to the contrary, as has constantly done Tim on this site, and the many participants, who have come forward as witness to these lies.
    Thank you, again.
