REPORT OF THE RABBIS

In early May, 2015, Kiko Arguello provided 120 Jewish rabbis from around the world with free trips to Israel to meet with many Catholic bishops and cardinals at a special "convivence".  Two American rabbis at the meeting were outspoken about the disturbing cult of personality surrounding Mr. Arguello...Read more.

  1. Congrats, Rabbis. FREE TRIP, WHY NOT? cult of personality absolutely correct observation. If your invited again, tell Kiko, never mind. Who will succeed Carmen, the coarse woman who is ill?

  2. There is another article referring to this event that is worth looking at, especially this little gem:

"Despite this [Pope John Paul II making a prayer at the wailing wall] I must point out, being true to Jewish tradition, there were a few of our co-religionists that complained that he didn’t removed his cross at the Kotel. I raised this at the conference, by stating, “Why should he? He wasn’t Jewish.” No doubt we would be offended if we were asked to remove our yarmulke or Magen Dovid from around our neck if we were at a catholic gathering. But so respectful were the Catholic participants at this conference that they removed all crosses from the walls of the Domus and tucked their crosses, that usually rested outside their garments, inside so as not to offend the rabbis. I said that I felt saddened that they needed to do this as it was totally unnecessary. "

  3. Even to non-biased outsiders, the rabbis clearly saw a Cult of personality. When will our own beloved Holy Mother Church realize what others have instantly seen?

My prayer is that they (Rome) see clearly and seek solutions. But my prayer continues from there.

When a doctor heaitates too long before removing a cancer from a person, often that person dies because of the cautious patience of a doctor who tries more passive methods less upsetting to the family of the victim.

Let us hope that an incision is rapid, accurate, and complete to remove the cancer so that all the victims are cured before this cult metasticuzes further!

  4. That's very good, Anon 3:24pm. I'll add those words of Rabbi Dovid Freilich to the post.

Since the crucifixes were removed from the walls of the Domus Galilaeae, I am sure that the bishops and cardinals were instructed by their host, Kiko, to stuff their crucifixes into their cassocks.

    1. The story on the referenced web site is written by a Rabbi who was in attendance and was obviously buffaloed by all the “feel good-ism” - “I’m okay, you’re okay” ecumenical b.s. that was intended by the organizers.

But the writers persuasion aside, it was the writer’s observation that: “the Catholic participants at this conference that they removed all crosses from the walls of the Domus and tucked their crosses, that usually rested outside their garments, inside so as not to offend the rabbis.”

As for pictures of prelates, there is only one showing Cardinal Pell with a piece of what looks to be his pectoral cross peeking out from his coat.

What a sad, sick day for the Catholic Church that our bishops and Cardinals are ashamed of Christ on the Cross. This fact should tell us much about the sad state of Rome.

    2. Anon at 8.49, which photos were you looking at? I can see no evidence that their crucifixes were visible, other than what Tim points out in regard to Cardinal Pell.

I agree with Tim that if ever there was any need for proof of the error into which much of the Church leadership has fallen, it is this practise of hiding the cross "a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles". It is quite shameful, and they ought to be ashamed.

A fairly recent survey of US Jews found that "two-thirds say it is not necessary to believe in God to be Jewish."

So, are these atheistic Jews our "elder brothers in faith"? Give me a break! Our Lord preached repentance and conversion to the Jews; are we to now say that he was wrong?

There are two main issues. Firstly, the term "Jew" is used interchangeably to mean both "cultural Jew" (that is, a familial descendent of the ancient Jews", and also "an adherent of Judaism". Why are we not able to make a distinction on this when it matters?

Secondly, modern Rabbinic Judaism is nothing other than the evolution of Pharisaic Judaism of two thousand years ago, and should not be identified with the ancient Judaism which was the beneficiary of God's promise to Abraham.

      Recall John 8:

"[21] Again therefore Jesus said to them: I go, and you shall seek me, and you shall die in your sin. Whither I go, you cannot come. [22] The Jews therefore said: Will he kill himself, because he said: Whither I go, you cannot come? [23] And he said to them: You are from beneath, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world. [24] Therefore I said to you, that you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sin. [25] They said therefore to him: Who art thou? Jesus said to them: The beginning, who also speak unto you."

      and again:

"Jesus therefore said to them: If God were your Father, you would indeed love me. For from God I proceeded, and came; for I came not of myself, but he sent me: [43] Why do you not know my speech? Because you cannot hear my word. [44] You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof."

      and finally:

"[56] Abraham your father rejoiced that he might see my day: he saw it, and was glad. [57] The Jews therefore said to him: Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? [58] Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was made, I am. [59] They took up stones therefore to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple."

    3. I've looked at the photos too, Anon @8:49 am, and there's nary a crucifix or pectoral cross to be seen. In any event, why would we doubt the Chief Rabbi of Perth? Would he gain anything by lying about this?

We have yet to discuss the celebration that was central to this Convivence, and indeed, the reason it was held in early May: the celebration of “Lag Ba’Omer”, which remembers Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, a 2nd century rabbi, and the day on which he revealed the deepest secrets of Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, in the called Zohar (Book of Splendor). My post includes a video of the lighting of the Lag B’Omer bonfire. Kiko has been accused of being a gnostic, and his dabbling with Kabbalah and the Zohar do nothing but add fuel to that fire.

  6. Anyway, while Kiko is not mentioned, no doubt his pathetic pandering to the Jews probably helped instigate the chief rabbi of Rome to tell the pope recently to get lost:

  7. By some comments in Cruxsancta blog's, it seems there are neocat itinerants trying to have a seat in Domus Galilae for the Parusy announced by Kiko for Easter in Saturday's neo Vigile.

I'm wondering if they will celebrate an Eucharist as always or if only they will sing all their jewish neo songs ("Why this night is different from other nights?, The Twelve Numbers, etc.) with their brothers in arms and the Holy Cross of Jesus still hidden...

  8. Chuck, mahalo for the post. Very interesting, Kiko continues to "embarrass" the Church and this time with the Jewish rabbis! A "Jonestown" event is brewing within the Church and the kool aid will deprive souls of eternal salvation. Rome the enemy is within your gates.
For the faithful it is time to put on the armor of God and become soldiers for Christ, rosary in one hand and the sword of Truth in the other to defeat Satan and all his cohorts.
Kudos to Tim, Chuck, the CCOG, the Laity Moving Forward and all brave souls for defending the TRUTH.

To the NeoCults who can only insult...meditate upon the lives of the saints...how does KIKO compare? Where is his humility? Do you not grow weary of the humiliation? The Scrutiny? The Perversions? Recognize the deception and come back to the ONE, HOLY, APOSTOLIC CHURCH. St. Michael the ArchAngel defend them against the wickness and snares of the Devil.
