ANOTHER NOTE TO ROME: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

In the June 9 edition of the Pacific Daily News, we learned that only the Vatican can investigate Apuron:

The PDN wrote: "Canon lawyer Jennifer Haselberger, an expert in church law, said Vatican policy dictates that only Rome can investigate bishops who are accused of sexual abuse."

On May 17, Pope Francis was quoted as saying:

It is true that it is not easy to judge the facts decades later in a different context. Reality is not always so clear. Nevertheless, there can be no statute of limitations for the Church in this field. As a result of these abuses, a priest, whose vocation is to lead a child to God, destroys him. He disseminates evil, resentment, distress. As Benedict XVI said, there must be zero tolerance.

So now, dear Vatican, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? And WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Our hands on Guam are tied civilly. Our civil laws do not permit us to civilly investigate Apuron (not yet, anyway). But YOU are not thus restricted.

SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

And none of this hush, hush, inside the Vatican stuff. The whole world is watching. The Church now has suffered for decades because of your secrecy. No more squirreling away bad bishops through your good ol' boys club.

Let's not let this be another Wesolowski!
...on June 24, 2013 a deacon was arrested and admitted to procuring impoverished boys to be sexually abused by the papal nuncio Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski. By the time the deacon appeared on TV and said that others in the Church knew about this the nuncio had vanished. He had been secretly whisked away and reappeared in the Vatican.http://www.concordatwatch.eu/topic-47307.834
Darn, does that sound familiar. At the first whiff of public allegations, and once his attempt to quash the first victim failed, Apuron is "whisked away" and voila! "reappears in the Vatican."

I heard you were mad at him for doing that video. At first I thought it was because the video undermined the effort to fix things with an Administrator. Now, I'm beginning to think that you are mad at Apuron for letting the whole world know where he is: under your wing.

Now's your chance, Rome. Put this guy on trial. Make the trial public. And when he's found guilty, let the whole world know the verdict and the sentence.

Then tell him to make a video in the same spot and beg the forgiveness of those boys whose lives he ruined. And he better not have anything on him that says "bishop."

Hopefully you can do this before we lift the statute of limitations and do it ourselves.

  1. I think they are waiting for our Island church to split into Roman Catholic and Orthodoxy maybe?

  2. On a footnote, Archbishop Wesolowski, was known to be having great relations with the very pro neos local bishops.
His trial, was never concluded, because he was the victim of a heart attack, after he was laicized.

It seems like being close to Kiko is almost as dangerous to your health as being closed to the Clintons. High numbers of heart attacks and other ailments, leading to death, as well as traffic accidents and such.
If I was Tony, I would be careful about what I eat in Italy. The stress!!! you know?

Frenchie i warned Archbishop Krebs about his meals on Guam. His food was watched. Because unfortunately deaths are being associated with this movement.

    1. Yes Fr Blockley, you are unfortunately right.
During my last visit at the Vatican during the Christmas time 2 years ago, my friend, a Cardinal who has been there for years, took security measures I had not seen since I left the intelligence community years ago.
We joked that the Colonna family had left for years, but the bad habits had stayed.
