DEAR ARCHBISHOP HON: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Dear Archbishop Hon,

Your buddy over in Qatar, Camillo Ballin, is acting like Fr. Luis Camacho is his priest. In fact, On April 8, he told Mr. Charles White that he is "now his bishop."

And now he releases a letter clearing Luis Camacho of all allegations of sexual misconduct, as if Luis was his priest to investigate in the first place:

See Mr. White's original post.

However, your 2016 Directory for the Archdiocese of Agana shows that Luis Camacho belongs to you, not Ballin:

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

  1. AB Savio isn't going to do anything. A committee needs to be set up and all the paper work needs to be sent to Rome.....Right???

  2. Were there new accusations against Luis? Why does the word calumny keep coming up? Lmao do they drill this word into priests' heads at seminary? Professor: if you are ever accused of wrongdoings, immediately deny and say it is a calumny!!

  3. The people of Guam should bombard this arrogant bishop with letters and newspaper clippings from Guam!

    1. How can bombarding "this arrogant bishop with letters" mean a thing if they are just from anonymous senders?

  4. How about a "buy one get ten free" offer? We certainly have enough presbyters!

  5. Qatar should have him since his bishop there asks his people to welcome "with love and devotion to such a good priest." It should be in writing so that if something else comes up we don't get dumped with the fees, and perhaps Guam Church should be partially reimbursed for the cost of his training and living arrangements. Or Guam Church can totally absolve everything and just drop him as lesson learned. After all it was Apuron that ordained him, and Apuron is no more.

  6. The presbyters of the NCW will surely produce the fruits of their "formation". Next time you meet a priest and if you ask him which seminary he went to, if he says RMS what do you do? Someone tell me, please ......

  7. Surely his arrest for "custodial interference" is an understandable "foundation for rumors and accusations". The charge alone is an accusation!

  8. Does anyone have a copy of the arrest record? Or the statement of the officer
Who witnessed what took place? Be good to slap their face with it.
Especially that sorry excuse of a bishop. Perhaps they go together
    Lickin Luis is ballin

    1. If you are talking about Luis, you know his tongue is not being used for speaking!

  10. Whoever "investigated" Luis Camacho--did they talk to the arresting Guam Police officer who caught Luis Camacho in the act of performing oral sex on the young girl from his parish? The fact that his case was dropped by the AG because charges were not filed by the girl or her parents does not change the fact that did the act! This smells like a cover up. That girl should be contacted to file a lawsuit and criminal charges against Luis Camacho, and let's see what Archbishop Hon will do? The Pope issued an order that the Church has ZERO Tolerance when it comes to child sex abuse by clergy. Malesso Girl--when Bill 3267-33 is passed into law, you can sue for damages and send Luis to jail. You will have the police officer to testify on your behalf. Demand justice.

    1. Don't count on it 9:38PM. The girl will NEVER press charges. You go figure it out Now!

    2. The girl doesn't have to press charges for the church to take action. If the police report corroborates the statements of the arresting officer, the miner girl and Luis, (that a sex act between the girl and Luis transpired) then according to the sex abuse policy of the archdiocese the church must address the issue. A PRIEST HAS NO BUSINESS ENGAGING IN SEXUAL ACTS, consensual or not!

So Fr Luis, already a priest, is being welcomed back to Qatar as a part of his formation? Was there a problem with the 10 years of formation the people of Guam already paid for? Or is this a reward for being so pastoral to one of his young sheep, a lamb?

Can Fr X (a non-NCW priest) go to Rome as a apart of his formation? No.
Can Fr Y go to Chicago as a part of his formation? No.

Something is deeply wrong here when the whole island except Hon knows what Fr Luis did and Fr Luis is glorified. Is this the Catholic Church's way of handling sex abuse? Send the case to Rome and , voila! He's innocent beyond a doubt.

No wonder the Church has had to shell out billions of dollars! If this is their mentality, then they deserve to be sued into oblivion.
