“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” a grieving Doris Y. Concepcion repeatedly said as her son’s ashes were placed in an above-ground niche of the columbarium at the Guam Veterans Cemetery in Piti on Tuesday.
Before her son, Joseph Anthony Quinata, died at age 38 in May 2005, he told her that Guam’s archbishop, Anthony S. Apuron, molested him when he was an altar boy in Agat in the 1970s, Concepcion said. CONTINUED
