DAILY POST: PROTESTS CONTINUE STRONG

Protests continue strong

With the issue of the Redemptoris Mater Seminary resolved by Coadjutor Michael Byrnes’ actions last week, members of the various Catholic lay organizations continued in their mission calling for accountability and transparency. CONTINUED

  1. The seminary issue wasn't fully resolved. It was only a fast Title transfer for PR purposes. RMS was erected specifically to train Neocat clergy and nothing about that has been changed.

Until that despicable cult is officially banned from Guam like it is in Japan, nothing was accomplished. Especially with perverse Apuron still in hiding. Who knows what kind of protective back door deals he might be making.

    1. The decree erecting the seminary says nothing about the Neocatechumenal Way, only the corporation documents. Those documents have been changed. The NCW can no longer impart their heretical teachings at RMS. However, this will be up to Byrnes to enforce. We will be watching, of course. BTW, the NCW is not banned in Japan. Each bishop was reminded that they already had the authority to permit or not permit the NCW in their diocese. As far as I know, they all wimped out.

  2. Tim, I've been meaning to ask, is it okay for the laity to start giving for the 1st and 2nd collections? I attend 9:30 a.m. mass at the Cathedral and stopped giving a while back after you exposed that funds were benefiting the NeoCats. Please give us an update on this. Thanks!

    1. I would wait until Archbishop Byrnes is firmly installed and we can be assured that there is NO possibility of Apuron returning.

    2. Who would install Archbishop Byrnes?

    3. Anonymous 9:12 a.m. I too attend mass at the cathedral and only gave a dollar a week when the NCW took over. But as soon as Fr. Paul became rector I started donating a lot more each week. I trust him. But if Apuron returns I will withhold my donations again.
