WOOF WOOF: OUR BARK HAS BEEN BITING

Posted by Jose M

Why do NCW members say we act like "wild african dogs?"  Perhaps they realized we speak the truth, and it feels   . . . ruff!

When the shepherd abandoned his flock, the watch dogs took over.

Once again, we picketers wrapped around the front of the Cathedral with our lines and signs.

Thank you, Jose! I always enjoy from afar your photos of the Sunday pickets! Thank you to the picketers! You picket for me, too, since I can't be physically there.

Here is an excerpt about the pickets from the Catholic Herald in London from just ten days ago (11/16/2016). “'My first job is to listen,' …. He added he also is aware that he will have to bring about ‘healing to those who said they have been abused.’ Healing will be spread throughout the archdiocese. ‘I have heard there are protests outside the cathedral with signs saying, ‘Defrock Apuron,' Archbishop Byrnes said. ‘At the same time, there are those who are saying, ‘No, I think he’s innocent.'’ The phenomenon is not uncommon. ‘It’s the same thing in a parish when a priest leaves. People have to take a stand, or they think they do [think they have to take a stand about the outgoing priest].’ Archbishop Byrnes.

Here is another excerpt from the Detroit News from six days ago (11/21/2016) about the Pope’s direct involvement with the situation on Guam. But first, if you will recall, in September Abp. Hon released a statement that he has asked for the removal of Abp. Apuron, “I want you to know that I am in Rome to urge the Holy See to remove Archbishop Apuron as archbishop of Agana and to appoint a successor … His Holiness, Pope Francis, is monitoring the proceedings.” In an interview granted by Abp Brynes to the Detroit News six days ago, Abp. Byrnes referenced a recent meeting with Pope Francis about Guam and about his appointment as Archbishop of Agana: “[Abp. Byrnes] recently met Francis after receiving news of his new gig, Byrnes said the conversation was meaningful. ‘He’s a soccer fan, so I said: ‘When the team isn’t working well, what do you do? Go back to basics — go back to Jesus.’ [Pope Francis] nodded and said ‘punto!’ Exactly right.”

I am comforted to know that Pope Francis has direct involvement with the repair and healing of the Catholic community on Guam. And, I totally agree with Abp Byrnes’ game plan --- it's time to go back to the basics of our faith! For so many years, even decades, the practice of the basics of our faith and the basics of Jesus' teachings have been side tracked in large part because of the having to deal with the dysfunctional operations of the local Church. "The basics" and all it entails will be a welcome familiarity to the local Faithful.

    1. A friend of mine envisages, in an extended metaphor, Church members approaching three stations ahead in the coming weeks (in the UK too). First getting filled much more with the Holy Spirit: it is a potter's shop and when we hand in our small cracked vessels He will make for us much bigger sounder jars to hold much more Holy Spirit. The next one is a forge, steeping ourselves in the true meanings of all of the Holy Scriptures to be equipped with "swords" ("double edged") and tailored to our individual grip. The third is a refreshment station with healing and opportunities to get things more right than we perhaps did before. Distractions have always been with us and their only real relevance is to highlight the real way of going on with God. The itinerants have the "lip" or lip service, but they can't puzzle out how to adhere!

Dear Archbishop Byrnes. I am sure by now you know that the signs calling for Apuron Out have far more to do than just the sexual allegations. Apuron was a man who raped this diocese as easily as he raped those little boys. It's the reason you are here. Do NOT make the same mistake Archbishop Hon did (at least initially) in thinking that he could bring peace and healing before justice and truth.

And pay careful attention to the words of Fr. Jeff San Nicolas:

“As these issues have come to light, rather than apologizing and seeking to create avenues of reconciliation, Archbishop Apuron has been supported by the Neocatechumenal Way locally, nationally and internationally to deny all charges and obfuscate the issue. This arrogant attitude of denial and obfuscation continued when he was faced with credible accusations of child sexual abuse against him."

  4. the full and true message of the pickets needs to get to archbishop byrnes as soon as possible, and repeated as frequently as needed. if he's unable (or, God forbid, unwilling) to meet with the representatives of the picketers, then the next best thing is to relay the message through the individuals who do have his ear (maybe pale mike? or finance council allies?).

i fear that byrnes might make his own judgment on what the pickets are about, and misunderstand it. he might base his judgment on what hon tells him. even fr paul may not be understanding it either, given what happened when he was "restored."

    1. The key is that nothing changes. We no longer look to Rome and that means Byrnes. Truth and Justice are independent things. They stand alone. He will need to decide in which side he stands. But given his actions so far, I think we are on the right road. Meanwhile, we march.

  5. Wild "african" dogs. That despicable remark is typical of the racist Neocats. Hopefully, black members who see it will leave the cult en masse.

I'm very skeptical of Apuron being convicted by a canonical tribunal. Since Francis let the freak escape to parts unknown, proceedings can't even be started. He should have been jailed at the Vatican pending trial. Again, they're terrified of protective episcopal pedophiles being exposed if Apuron is interrogated under oath. Unless he's acquitted, their only alternative is the Wesolowski Solution.

Guam isn't rid of the pervert yet. If he's acquitted and lives, he can return and plague the place for 3+ years until he's compelled to submit his retirement at age 75.

    1. Actually he's only required to submit his resignation at 75. Rome is not required to accept it. He could stay on. Especially if by then the kikos rule Rome which they are close to doing.

The former Msgr Jozef Wesolowski (former Vatican diplomat to the Dominican Republic) was found guilty by the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (the same body that is handling Abp Apuron’s canonical trial) and sentenced to the harshest penalty possible against a cleric: laicization, meaning he can no longer perform priestly duties or present himself as a priest. This is our wish for Abp Apuron, too. Mr. Wesolowski was the highest-ranking Vatican official to be investigated for alleged sex abuse, and his case raised questions about whether the Vatican, by removing him from Dominican jurisdiction, was protecting him and placing its own investigations ahead of that of police and legal authorities in the Caribbean nation. This happened around 2013-2014.

I’m not sure what Anon 5:06 means by “solution” but in the context of his/her comment, please correct me if I'm wrong Anon 5:06, I think in order to keep the details and perhaps names of other clergy pedophiles confidential, Mr. Wesolowski, as a citizen of the Vatican, is kept in the Vatican even though he was found guilty at his canonical trial and laicized. He is kept there because the Dominican Republic wants access to him for their child abuse investigation. The Vatican doesn’t want any testimony he may have to make under oath to be accessible outside of the Vatican records so they keep him there because he is a citizen of the Vatican. I think, Anon 5:06 is theorizing about the possibility that the Vatican may keep Abp Apuron there (or somewhere) so that he is not accessible to a secular judicial-legal body where he may be subjected to testimony under oath and will have to spill what he knows about the child abuse and pedophilia activities in the Archdiocese of Agana. The Church, both local and Vatican, will be marred by such testimony. The Church already is marred in that way and we all know it, so why not let the truth come out? Aren’t we taught by the Church that in the truth is where healing begins? Healing is always automatically thought of in terms of the abused --- and rightly so. But the Church also needs to heal itself from clergy abuse and clergy abusers and its role. So, Church [the institution], why not let the truth out and allow this beloved institution to heal, too.

On a post-script: I wrote somewhere earlier today, that in an interview granted by Abp Byrnes over the weekend, he has had a conversation with Abp. Apuron and mentioned that Abp Apuron is in the U.S.

Ah-ha! So "solution" means a mysterious death! Yikes! Thanks for bringing me up to date on that story. I was following it for awhile, but I didn't follow it to the end --- well, now I know how it all ended.

Thanks, Tim. I read the link you shared. So that's what happened to him. I recall keeping track of this on the issue of being brought to the Vatican to face investigation and trial there rather than secular investigation by law enforcement in the Dominican Republic. I lost track by the time the case became ready for trial. Now I know his death became the ending of that story. OMG!

    6. How can a Vatican body determine the guilt of a man who abused kids decades ago? I wouldn't find credibility in the decision of the tribunal if they base their decision (or recommendation) on Apuron's stay or removal as Archbishop of Agana with the sex abuse allegations. Rather, they should base it his leadership, his decisions, his public slander of clergy abuse victims, and his complete and unquestioning submission to the hierarchy of the Neocatechumenal Way. He should be removed for his intentional failure to shepherd his flock. Any decision by that body based on the sex abuse allegations would be meaningless.

    7. You are correct. They aren't going to try him for the sex abuse allegations.

    8. J. Wezolowski was absolutely NCW supporting and I remember some Dominican "kikos" who used to comment in Cruxsancta blog ALWAYS OF COURSE FOR SURE saying he was innocent, he was a super holy presbyter, etc. because every Saturday he used to celebrate the eucharist with them.
Diana's phenomenon is not new. Dominican neos were first. They would have given their own soul for demostrating Wesolowski innocence.
Neos are always supporting the wrong side, that is a bad sympthom.

  7. ROME — Jozef Wesolowski, a Polish former archbishop who would have been the first high-level cleric to stand before a Vatican tribunal on charges of child sexual abuse, was found dead early Friday, the Vatican said in a statement. He was 67.

See that? He "would have been." That means Apuron will be the first. Unless Kiko has something else in mind. Watch your back, Tony.

    2. Of course . . . and they would rationalize it as such.

But I say enough of this kind of conspiratorial talk. Justice here on earth is desirable, but true justice is yet to come to him from our Lord.

Besides, it's predictable that "Diana" is busy writing another post on how JW and the rest of us are hoping, even planning for the mortal demise of Apuron. They can't help but grasp.

  8. The itinerants have never heard the motto, "let sleeping dogs lie"!

The opposite of "wild" in their mind is Kiko-tamed (Girard-mimetified). My dictionary defines the symptoms of the (Neo) Catatonic (Way) as "stupor, stereotypy and mania" - ring any bells?

Dogs are a symbol of friendship, loyalty and protection. Their patron is St Roch (Rocco).

I've had a lovely hour looking up African dogs. Africa loves dogs like the rest of the world!

  9. Francis gave satanic Wesolowski a Vatican funeral Mass with full episcopal honors, then shipped his remains back to Poland for burial. Poland buried that sewage with episcopal honors, despite his record of pedophilia there.

Wesolowski was so vile that he threatened to withhold medication money from an epileptic Dominican boy unless the poverty-stricken black child allowed himself to be abused. He even had a Polish priest-pimp who was sentenced behind closed doors to 7 years in a Polish prison. His computer was found with over 100,000 child porn videos, some of which he made himself.

He also belonged to a secret cyber-community of episcopal pedophiles. The Vatican's computer forensics people uncovered the global cabal, so Francis knows exactly who's in it. That's probably what caused Wesolowski's highly suspicious death only hours before his criminal trial was scheduled to start in Vatican City.

Anonymous at 2:01AM, the opening sentences of your post are what motivates me to continue to display my homemade DEFROCK APURON sign as I participate in the LFM 0900-0945 Sunday morning picket line in front of the Cathedral-Basilica.

I must admit that, with my physical and mobility challenges which necessitate my use of a Rollator, it's sometimes hard to stay motivated. I happened to be on the first picket line with my lightweight aluminum walker on 12 June. The picketing has been going on — rain or shine! — for 25 weeks and I have been present for 21 of those weeks — including that day of unrelenting rain. As LFM's Lou Klitzkie has affirmed, we will continue to picket as long as it takes to have Rome remove the title of Archbishop before the name of the Serial Child Molester Anthony Sablan Apuron. When battle fatigue threatens to get the better of me, I usually rely on the revelations of the "altar boys from Agat" to keep me focused. Now I will remember your account of the Wesolowski funeral as well.

The idea of Apuron receiving the episcopal honors, as you described, after sexually assaulting young boys for years — I believe the handful who have revealed their experiences is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg — is unacceptable! While other picketers display signs that read APURON OUT, I will cling to my DEFROCK APURON sign, no matter how slim the chances of that coming to fruition may be.
