HON: APURON DISOBEYED

PDN: Hon talks about Apuron, Byrnes, Guam-Rome link

Archbishop Savio Hon Tai Fai said Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron had more than a year, from early 2015, to prove to the Vatican he could improve his weak pastoral governance and unify the Catholic Church on Guam.

But Apuron failed to heed the calls, and the subsequent public allegations that Apuron sexually abused Agat altar boys in the 1970s made matters worse for him, Hon said. CONTINUED

And yes, Rome did answer your letters from the neocults. Dumbasses, can't you see? Change is happening and Rome made its decision to replace your brother tony.

"He turned on his own ..." what? "his own" people --- the NCW peole? Anon 5:46 you were crossing your fingers that Abp Hon would not provide the Pope with an accurate and truthful report of his investigation of Abp Apuron and the mess Apuron created in the Archdiocese of Agana? Abp. Hon didn't turn on anyone. He reported the facts and the truth. Many years ago, in anticipation of having to report some disappointing parish facilities news for the necessary repair of a church roof, my pastor said a phrase to me that has stuck with me since: "The truth never wavers and, for that reason, don't be scared of blurting it out even if it's ugly." Abp. Hon did just that.

  2. I hope the Vatican won't slam Hon for nailing rotten Apuron. All they do now is label disliked, good bishops as conservatives and destroy them.

  3. It was so OBVIOUS since the first minute...Apuron always showed the opposite behaviour than a humble and innocent person. That was a very bad signal from the beginning. As we know by Hon now, Vatican eyes saw it even before we, common and ordinary people, noticed it. What a shame for Diana and company sending letters trying to defend such an arrogant man! Neos trying to sell the new emperor's clothes!

  4. Like Senator Frank Blas Jr, Archbishop Hon did the right thing. Pray for more leaders like them.

  5. senstor Blass took the right moral road. Best to gain points for eternity than to have earthly power in the senate.
    power is not important.
Apuron had power he abused his and many worked to throw him out. Any priest or bishop abusing power we will throw them out again. It takes time to throw out a bishop but we can do it amd make their life hell.
However, Archbishop Michael such a nice guy I dont think we will make his life hell.
Bring back Apuron war will break out for sure for sure.

    1. That's right. It took him awhile but he finally threw off the Filoni shackles and came around to doing the right thing because it was the right thing to do. In a matter of weeks, once we began our campaign here on JungleWatch, Hon went from "no doubt" (the property belongs to the Archdiocese) to coordinating the complete ousting of both the neo-controlled Cemetery and RMS boards and the crafting of the legal documents needed to convey title to the property back to the Archdiocese and seal the deal with filing for Quiet Title in Superior Court.

Hon always knew the truth but he was completed chained to the wall by Filoni and Kiko when he first came here. Our big break came when Fr. Jeff outed Filoni's involvement with RMS slamming the door shut on the LFM. Filoni's name wasn't supposed to come up, but once it did...well let's just say Filoni Baloney got a phone call and Hon was free to move.

    2. Divine Providence. How else could it be described? Many thanks to all who bravely stepped forward to do the right thing. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide you.

Divine Providence, Holy Spirit at work ... in a conversation with Cardinal Wuerl many years ago, he and I were discussing discernment of God’s will and how that process doesn’t come easily to me. He said something to me that I have remembered: “… often you don’t see the Holy Spirit’s work or God’s providence until in hindsight, so embrace all that is happening at the present because it may be part of the outcome you pray for …” (beautiful isn’t it?). While that wasn’t the point of our conversation on discernment it was something that has stuck with me. In the case of Abp. Hon’s freedom to report the truth to the Holy Father, as Tim mentioned above, the inadvertent disclosure last summer of Fr. Jeff’s email exchange with Fr. David-the- Lurch on the lockout of the LFM’s scheduled visit to the RMS last September, it isn’t until now, some four months later, that we are seeing Holy’s Spirit’s work in responding to our collective prayers for a new leadership in the Archdiocese of Agana. Two weeks after that LMF lockout, Abp Hon issued a statement from Rome that he has asked the Holy Father to remove Abp. Apuron from office. We learned this week from the interview he granted to the PDN on the eve of his return Rome that a search for a coadjutor bishop was then accelerated after he asked for the removal of Abp Apuron. The NCW’s disrespect for Abp Hon since September and the glaring display of their collective disrespect for him has been heightened since the announcement of the appointment of Abp Byrnes some four weeks ago. I notice their frequent use of the word “defiant” lately when referring to Abp. Hon. It begs the question: defiant to whom? Certainly not to Pope Francis. Abp. Hon did the work asked of him by Pope Francis. What he didn’t do is continue the lies, the cover-up, and the application of spin on the NCW lies that the NCW honchos --- Filoni, Kiko, Pius, etc. --- expected that he would do. That is why they tag him as “defiant.” Someone who is defiant is bold. A defiant person is usually fighting an evil enemy. In this context, yes, I agree with the NCW (for once) that Abp. Hon was defiant --- to the NCW. And I thank God for his defiance!

    4. The Holy Spirit always reveals to us the truth. In this case the truth is that the NCW will do anything (lie, cheat and deceive) to promote the "way".

I wonder how many NCW communities that have been established in parishes worldwide are employing unscrupulous methods to promote the "way".

Lie, cheat and deceive = NCW

  7. Diana is currently attacking Archbishop Hon stating that he has no facts, however, when asked why didn't tony boy pursue his lawsuit against the Typhoon, all I got was silence. Diana is one sad spokesperson but that's the norm for Diana when faced with the Truth.

    3. The entire blog is authored by an anonymous coward, with comment submissions by anonymous cowards but it's sanctioned by a not so anonymous person.

All we need to know is that the lead NCW catechist for Guam, Pius, is deeply involved with Diana and approves of that blog's content.

  9. Neocat sheeple are notoriously ignorant, stupid and poorly educated. Their appalling behavior is predictable.

Where I live, they keep to themselves along two ethnic lines, both overtly racist: Latino and Filipino. However, as with the fading Charismatics, no one cares because rational Catholics always ignored them. Thankfully, Neocats don't operate in mainstream parishes or the seminary.

The only time local Neocats advertise themselves as a group is when they're publicly sucking up to the egomaniac bishop. He tolerates all of their heresies and liturgical abuses with a smarmy grin. Probably because the local cult is well-heeled.
