WE ARE NOT ALONE

The amazing liberties taken by the leaders of the Neocatechumenal Way with the liturgy, theology, catechism, etc., are not unique to Guam and certainly did not start with me or JungleWatch. Other Catholic peoples and dioceses have been battling this outrage for decades. Here's a sample story from an Italian group which understands the Neocatechumenal Way far more than me:

An arbitrary and blasphemous use of a Sacred Image

This image seems blasphemous to us or at least it shows that, while the Church of Christ is based on the Holy Trinity, Kiko’s conception of the Trinity is a human construction based on three distinct, not equal, persons. We cannot help highlighting the excess of liberty—which turns into desecration—in Kiko’s defacing the stupendous artwork of Rublëv, substituting the three Angels representing the three divine Persons with the images of the three leaders of the NCW, ignoring and erasing even the rest of the wonderful symbolism of Rublëv’s painting. 2. The members of the NCW put so much emphasis on KIKO'S song, paintings and his interpretation of the liturgy, and now the Trinity as though he was their Divine a Prophet....another Joseph Smith.

It all boils down to KIKO'S interpretations. Let us pray..Lord have mercy on us and the church.

  3. Actually, the article is incorrect. That is an example of an anti-Neo article. The truth of the painting is found on this weblink.

    http://tr.pinterest.com/mhomecookin/art-and-beautiful-icons/

All they did was copied the painting, but left out the part where it says that Kiko re-interpreted it as Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. The Church teaches that the family is a reflection of the Holy Trinity just like marriage is a reflection of the marriage between Christ and His Church. That weblink also shows many of Kiko's paintings.

    1. Ummm, really. You want us to believe that the truth of the painting can be found at Pinterest under "homecookin"? Yikes!

    2. Yes, because it's an objective website. It is not anti-Catholic, anti-Protestant, or anti-anything, but simply publishes arts and icons of different painters and according to what the painter says it represents.

    3. It says re-interpretation

    5. Thanks for pointing this out, Tim. I wondered if anyone else would notice that "Diana" is using pinterest as a resource. I just can't take her seriously. Aiyaiyai!

    6. And Diana, we're supposed to believe you because....?

    7. At 8:31. It only feels like a jab if its true. That's why none of yours bother me. But since you keep coming back for more...I don't want to disappoint :)

    8. Copied from Pinterest

St. Andrei Rublev's icon of the Holy Trinity: Re-interpreted as the Holy Family by Kiko Arguello. May we see our families as holy.

    9. Because that was one of the designs that was submitted for World Family Day in 2009. Two of Kiko's designs of the Holy Family were submitted, and that was one of them.

Kiko teaches that the family is a reflection of the Holy Trinity just as the Catholic Church teach it. Also, if you examine all of Kiko's paintings, they are all religious paintings of Mary, Christ, the Holy Family, the Angel Raphael, etc...all religious figures.

    10. Kiko this, Kiko that. Kiko is just another layperson like the rest of us. Am I willing to trust my salvation in Kiko's interpretation of scripture, the liturgy, and essentially all things Catholic? Mmm no, thank you.

  4. The original painting is beautiful and full of meaning. The copy is outrageous and full of ego and narcissistic undertones. This Kiko sees himself as a savior to Catholicism. He sees himself as a saint. Heaven forbid that one day he actually claim himself as Jesus Christ incarnated.

  6. R. Camacho. The Icon leads to the new creative order for the church on Guam. Suggest you embrace the new vision, or you may arrive at the gates of heaven not having claimed the vision. At that time you face entrance to the new Jerusalem or entrance to life without god. Suggest now you prepare to Accept the new order leading to the new Jerusalem. Hope this helps you.

You really just espoused what NCW really teaches. kiko gives life? sounds anti-christ to me
To AnonymousMarch 16, 2014 at 10:25 AM Really? I don't remember claiming someone's "new vision" was a prerequisite to obtaining eternal life with God. jeesh you guys really really need to check your theology. "New Vision"?, angels? come on...

    2. Oh dear! Did I miss the teachings about following Kiko from the old and new testaments in the Bible? And what paragraph no. in the Catechism of the Catholic Church is the teaching about salvation thru Kiko. I must have missed that section in the CCC, too!

    3. Kiko is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Kiko does not grant salvation. His work is to lead people to the gate of salvation, the new Jerusalem. But as he is the inspired servant of God, you can be sure your entering the new Jerusalem.

    4. Gee if I had dollar for every time someone made this claim...

    5. I, too, am inspired by the Holy Spirit but that doesn't mean i am going to start "interpreting" my own mass and influencing people that my "WAY" is the only way to salvation.

Do you neos actually hear the things you are saying. "Kiko wants me to do this" and "Kiko wants me to do that". If I do "this" and "that" then i will walk in paradise with kiko and whats his name?....Christ, Jesus Christ, him too....

Shame on you for following the teachings of a man rather than your savior.

  8. Theological understanding of some of the comments today is alarming. Hope to God the comments are not the thinking of the future priests of Guam.

  9. God will not allow the neo to leave Guam. It is here for ever. No one will stop us. We have money, we have power, mpeople in high places in the Vatican, who will carry out kiko's vision. Not even the pope will stop him. This is inspired by the Holy Spirit, we are the new Jerusalem.

  10. Apparently Padre Pio defined Kiko Argüello and the Neocatechumenals as “the new false prophets“.

  12. Logic. Padre pio lived and died long before kiko. How could padre pio possibly have called kiko the new false prophets. I am not neo but I read all the comments. No matter where we stand let's apply logic to our comments or the comments become jokes. Thank you.

  13. Pdre Pio died in 1968. The NCW started in 1964.

    1. I do not know if Padre Pio ever said anything about Kiko by name, but he wouldn't have to. The reality of false prophets was told to us by Jesus. But besides the dates, Padre Pio had many supernatural gifts, and foreseeing the likes of Kiko could have been certainly something he was privy to. But what many of us here in Guam don't know or lose sight of is that Kiko is just one of a long line usurpers. He's just particularly good at it. Eventually they die and go away, but the damage lingers for centuries. Even now, Arianism stays with us via JW's and Iglesia's.

    2. Yes, Christ warned us of false prophets. He said you would know them by their fruits. If they produce fruits they're not false prophets. If they have no fruits, then they're false prophets.

    3. Yes. We've seen quite a bit if that "fruit" on this blog.

  14. Here is another post to prove that "We Are Not Alone." This one shares many of our concerns regarding NCW-related issues: http://bostoncatholicinsider.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/neocatechumenate-questions/

Although the post is from 2012, it’s relevant to what we have been discussing here on JW. Check out the comments, too.

  15. The obvious seems to keep getting missed here. Kiko says This..... Felix Manalo Says that..... Charles Taze Russel says something else. Hmmmm doesn't the NCW seem like those religions now? The many are called to follow the words and interpretations of a non ordained man. If we want real closure to all of the NCW confusion on Guam is this....Follow the Money! Unlike those still enlisted in the Kiko Army, I chose to stop drinking the Kool Aid and find my real home in the Roman Catholic Church founded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Himself. I trust the Lord who left us with his Vicar to lead us to the eternal salvation. The bible never made any mention to the following of a new prophet of Christ, however it makes mentions to the Darkess being disguised as light coming in to destroy what Christ himself built. Many of you who respond here are professional adults with professional careers. Hopefully some of you with the courage can help us all with a sense of direction on how we can "Follow the Money" to bring light to the real truth about the NCW and it's real intent. How does one come to fathom the idea of Catholic Evangelization on an Island that is already predominantly Catholic. 85% to be exact and that was even before the introduction of the NCW.
