YOU NEED TO START WALKING OUT

Received as a comment:

At the 6PM Saturday parish vigil at Barrigada, a parishioner attending mass said that Fr. Adrian, in his homily, said that if you are against the Archbishop, then you are against Jesus Christ. The family wanted to walk out, upset that the pulpit being used to further divide the community.

Note: Start recording every homily.

A comment like that given by a priest appeals to people with low self-esteem who don't believe they can think for themselves. I criticize the archbishop for his outright lies regarding Fr. Paul and his inability to make a public apology. He has also made public statements to damage the reputation of Msgr. James. These were shown to be false as well. My relationship with Jesus Christ does not preclude me from expressing my opinion about a known liar who unfortunately is also the archbishop of Agana. The Lord would want me to pray for the archbishop and this I do.

  2. Yup they should of walked out. Because they are there only for what the priest has to say in his homily.

    1. Nope, because the sanctity of the Mass has been profaned.

    2. And you know that because...? You don't know that, do you? If they are like most of us, we go to Mass to hear the Word of God and to received Christ in the Eucharist. We are not there to hear a particular priest's personal tantrums, which mock and degrade the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. But since it is not the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to kiko's, then perhaps it doesn't matter.

    4. Sorry. Hard to tell sometimes.

    5. One must wonder aloud what would have happened if a priest gave a homily that was against the NCW and critical of the Archbishop's actions or lack of action? Would they be imposed a painful and arduous penalty to their ministry?

    6. Atta boy Adrian. Equating Tony with Jesus, while you secretly try to destroy him so you have a shot at his job. Poor Tony probably didn't even see this day coming when he brought you back from exile in Denver because of your temper tantrum for not being found worthy of a Monsignor title.
Two very important things to remember:
1.) You still are not worthy of any honor or title
2.) when Tony lies we do not go against Jesus for calling him out on those lies. Even Jesus was critical of the Jewish hierarchy because they had lost their compass and sense of service. But your limited mental capacity prevents you from seeing reality.

Now if Adrian said that those who go against the Church/the Pope also go against Jesus then you might have had support from a whole lot of people. I for one believe that Kiko and all those who knowingly go against the Holy Mother Church (you, Tony, David the JCD, and so many other kiko priests and lay people) do indeed go against Jesus. I will not judge you, as I know that all judgement is from God. But there is nothing wrong with calling attention to these errors and hoping that a bright light will knock you off your ASS and bring you back to the truth. Until then, you have chosen to follow a different path that has been baited by the devil. I hope you see the light before it is too late.

The same holds true for all kikos who choose to deny the Church's liturgical rules, who teach heresy, and who lead others on the wrong path. This is rotten fruit and it would be better if you had not been born.

Divine Mercy is always available, but you need to reach out for it, and not for divine kiko.

  3. Adrian so much expected to be a Monsignor when Monsignor James was made a Monsignor. At that time archbishop said Adrian has his limitations so best he not made a Monsignor. However, he expects to be the next Bishop of Guam, and this is what it is all about.

    1. Beginning to see the reasons Pope Francis eliminated title Monsignor for younger men, excepting Curia clerics. Poor Msgr. Adrian (NOT) didn't have time to prepare homily on the Word; so he preached a sermon on the theme that is churning in his mind continually like a broken record. Easy. After all, he is busy with his Chancery DUTIES; which are many. i.e. lying, cheating, threatening, destroying, and the like. Seems to come natural. Good set of skills for Local Ordinary; don't you think so?

  4. But we are not against the bishop, we are against the change to the Neocatechumenal Ways. The bishop should turn back to the old ways.

  5. I've wondered the same thing. Adrian and David ill-advise the Archbishop, causing all this grief, making him look bad when they speak for him/write for him. One cannot help but wonder if their real motive is to have him ousted so that one of them can sit on his chair and wear that mitre. The things that ambition, power and greed drive men to do......

    1. Careful, there. That GREEN mitre Archie has been wearing is growing bigger after each weeks big FIBS. Might wind up around their ankles. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Their Excellencies Adrian and David? Not going to happen. Impossible for so many reasons.

    2. If the Archbishop is unable to discern ill-advise from sound advise then his competency is in question.

  6. AADDDRRRIIIAAANNNNNN!!!!!!
And I thought you guys studied the bible, what was it twice a week?
So I guess St. Paul was against Jesus the Christ when he went against Peter for imposing Jewish dietary law on the gentiles...
    try again.

  7. If Adrian is made Bishop we will have few Catholics and more people leaving the Church. Monsignor James, Father Jeff and Mike will run circles around these so called priest who hurt our Mother Church and her parishioners.

  8. For myself, and here I only speak for myself, since it is a matter of personal conscience:
I ALWAYS walk out when I think a priest is breaching the trust we give him, or the boundaries of morality to make an ill advised point during his homily.
Believe me nobody in this church will not notice I am living, because I make a point to make sure everybody hears and sees it.
But I do not end there, I also wait outside of the Church, and I make sure to make my position known to that priest after mass, in no uncertain terms and in a very public way.
I do get strange looks sometimes, but I also get a lot of understanding smiles.
May be, it is that ornery French side of me, but I believe we get only what we stand for.

    1. I'm half French and never realized that's where the ornery I have going on came from. Thanks, Frenchie. Been so ornery lately while on this blog that I'm thinking the French side is beginning to dominate!

    2. Frenchie, How often has that happened? How did the priests react?

    3. I heard from a reliable source that a parishioner told father Jucatan after the 7 PM Mass that his homily had nothing to do with the readings and gospel.

    4. Well Anon at 9.12, I have done at least six times that I can recall. (average once a decade)
      Only once in Guam.
The first time I was only 23yo.
Priests reactions run the gamut, from "how dare you challenging me" to "I guess I went a little overboard"
None the less I believe it is healthy to challenge, if you remain silent, you give your agreement for things to continue.

I guess that half can be a curse or a blessing!!!
Like everything in life it depends what you do with it.
      Best of luck

  9. My son attended that Mass at San Vicente Church and couldn't believe that Fr. Adrian's homily had nothing to do with the readings or the Gospel. You can be sure he has no intention of attending Mass there again if that's what is to be expected. Very disappointed - again.

  10. Tim, do you know if that rumor is true about Father Adrian going to be appointed Bishop in September? I remember that comment being posted a few months ago, and now it is reappearing in the comment section of your latest posts.

  11. Adrian will become the bishop of Guam cause he has the "goods" on Emperor Apuron. Pure and simple blackmail. Apuron will give him high marks and ultimately offer his support. The is truly an Emmy winning performance. "House of Clerics" I am just glad that the nuncio and a few others have a role to play and that they can "veto" Apurons "chosen anointed one".

    1. At this point in time Apurons considered opinion will not be considered. Just wait and see.
