BLOWING UP BRIDGES

Koror-Babeldaob Bridge collapsed, Sep. 26, 1996
I have a moment so I wanted to get back to this:
AnonymousSeptember 21, 2014 at 8:40 AM
Tim your not building bridges but evidently you are burning bridges. Nuncio suggested this but your the cause of this. I really hope you don't receive the sacraments seriously.

As I noted in the original post of this comment, I believe this is from Fr. Adrian. Here's why.

  • Many who know him recognize his persistent misuse of "your" versus "you're".
  • Only the clergy were in the meeting at which the Nuncio said to build bridges. The rest of us weren't invited.
  • The threat about my receiving the sacraments is something a neo-priest would say.

But beyond the identity of the commenter, let's deal with this "building bridges" stuff because it has been used several times against me.

  • I was not at the meeting, so the directive to "build bridges" was NOT directed at me.
  • In fact, it was not directed at any lay person since only clergy were at the meeting.
  • The directive to "build bridges" was directed at the rift between Archbishop Apuron and the non-neo clergy and the rift between the non-neo clergy and the neo clergy.
  • The directive was SOLELY directed at the clergy because this was SOLELY a meeting with the clergy. None of us were invited.
  • The above noted rifts had not only been long identified, they have continued to worsen over the years.
  • We know this because of the Georgetown CARA report in 2010 where the problems were assiduously studied and a course of corrective action was outlined.
  • We also know from the recording of the meeting that the corrective action outlined in 2010 was NEVER taken.  At the July 14 meeting with the Nuncio, Deacon Bill Hagen said that the "action plan" (CARA report) sits on the shelf."
  • Why was the action plan NEVER acted upon? Because Archbishop Apuron had no desire to act on it. He had NO desire to build bridges, mend fences, rebuild relationships, or fix things in general. There can be no other explanation since he is the all-powerful one in this Archdiocese. Only he can make it happen. And only he can keep it from happening.
  • And why does he NOT want to do this? Why does the Archbishop not only NOT begin the building of bridges but seems intent on blowing up what few bridges are left?

Yet, Fr. Adrian and the Kiko's want to blame a little layman with a blog. How sad is that?

  1. Those who heard "building bridges" in person also heard "you are the problem." Tim, you are right. How come the Archbishop cannot seem to act on this.

  2. I believe the rest of us "Regular Catholics" understand that the whole "building bridges" recommendation from the Nuncio was directed to the Archbishop and the clergy since, as mentioned in this post, they were the ones in attendance at the meetings.

It is only in the twisted logic of those in the NCW in which one can accuse a layman — who was NOT PRESENT at the meetings — of not heeding the Nuncio about "building bridges." Of course those same Kikos/Kikobots will fail to acknowledge that the Archbishop's removal of Msgr. James as Rector — another instance of burning bridges — came just 10 days after the Nuncio departed.

  3. It is extremely sad! I am beyond appalled at the gall that many of these Neocats have in thinking that the Archbishop has done no wrong, and everyone else is at fault. As the "shepherd" he claims to be for our people, it is incumbent upon him to start building these bridges. Has he? No, seriously, has he? If so, I have yet to see any outward gesture on his part in trying to repair the rifts that he has caused. By his outright disobedience to the magisterium of the church, favoritism toward the NCW, AND imposition of the NCW upon those of us who WANT NOTHING to do with this movement, he has caused a schism that, unless HE does something to repair the damage, will only widen. I am so sickened by our supposed "shepherd" that I feel physically nauseous when I see him. So, Archbishop, unless YOU do something to build the bridges (as you were directed to do by the Nuncio), you will only been as a puppet doing the bidding of your Neo superiors (and sadly, those lay people you call catechists who you are obligated to follow). You need to live up to the vows that you took when you became a priest, long before you ever started walking in the Way.

  4. I really think it's pathetic that a priest has to be converted to the way. what's wrong with the church? It's not good enough? Because the last time I checked, the church holds the truth, which I believe cannot be separated from the way and the life, who is Jesus. He established this church for everyone.

    1. No intelligent priest joins the Ncw. The sect only appeals to those who are left wanting . Empty individuals who are like clanging gongs. Catholics have all they did in the sacramental life of the church to see us to salvation. No one needs this cult which is a cult of evil.

  5. And how is the Archbishop and the clergy supposed to build bridges when the minutes was sent to a layman to publish it in his blog in order to promote distrust?

You also said that Edivaldo was Diane and you're wrong about that. Diane didn't know Deacon Martinez or that he's married, but Edivaldo does.

    1. Funny. So I’m the reason the very expensive CARA action plan sat on the shelf for 4 years. And why should the publication of the minutes of the meeting promote distrust? In fact, the Archbishop should have taken the lead and promoted TRUST by publishing them himself. Edivaldo is only one of several people behind the Diana blog. But I find it interesting that you give all this credit to one little layman with a blog when you all have the Umatuna, the radio station, the pulpit, and all the power in the archdiocese to smear and destroy. Thanks. I’ll take it.

    2. Anon @ 3:56 PM -- It wasn't to promote distrust but to reveal the truth since there seems to be a lot of lies coming from the Chancery. Without these documented meetings, letters, etc., the Archbishop will continue to get away with his abusive authority. Now he knows he's under watchful eyes....the eyes of the Jungle Watchers!!

And so what if we think Edivaldo is Diana. As long as "she" is using a fake name, we can say whoever we think "she" is.

    3. @ 3:56 The distrust was caused by what transpired NOT because it was revealed in a blog. The truth eventually comes out sooner or later. Any intelligent person with integrity will not fear scrutiny.
Your reasoning is similar to that of criminals who blame others for being brought to justice, failing to see or admit that their criminal behavior was wrong and got them in trouble as a result.

    4. Well, I tried to help out DIANA (the unmentionable) by telling her Dcn Steve is Married...but AS USUAL she continued on in her cocky, authoritative manner. Sorry, Diana is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Not be far. I keep asking why anyone lilstens to her pontificating without knowing who the H-LL she is. I wonder if the ARCHBISHOP knows???

    5. Like diane said, how can there be trust when a layman gets involve and can't mind his own business. Let the clergy work out the problems themselves. The layman wasn't invited to the meeting, so let the layman stay out of the clergy business.

    6. Distrust is the Disunity caused by Archbishop Apuron and his cult. This is the only distrust in Guam and the pacific. He is the cause of distrust and disunity in this community.

    7. Yes Anon @ 8:57 pm: I totally agree that Diana is NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer. And to think Zoltan refers to her as the "authentic source". What a bunch of Kikos....oops, I mean Kookoos.

    8. Yes. 9:31. I totally agree. Let's stop letting Giuseppe run our diocese. What do you say? Eh?

  6. Archbishop over the years has done some horrible things to priests and seminarians. I for one will never forgive him only hope God does, or he is destined to the fires of hell.

    1. Sorry, not trying to defend the archbishop, but if you do not forgive him neither will you reach the kingdom. Yes, we must speak out against the injustices and heresies, but we cannot stoop to their level, otherwise we are no better than they are.
On a different note, he joined because pius convinced him he has no faith because he cannot say to the mountain, "get up and hurl yourself into the sea." Thing is neither can pius, neither can kiko, carmen or any of them. the blind leading the blind if you use their logic.

    2. It's up to each individual if, how, and when they will forgive him for whatever hurt he has caused them. But forgiveness has nothing to do with rectifying the errors and injustice done to this diocese because of the abuse of his position and power.

  7. Because of all this, I have stopped going to Mass, have stopped giving to the Catholic Church regularly, and I am now thinking of leaving the Catholic Church altogether. I have been a very active Catholic, but I think I will be leaving the Roman Catholic Church until this Archbishop leaves because he does not and cannot represent the UNITY of the ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC and APOSTOLIC ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH in this Archdiocese. If this is what they want the faithful to do, then I suggest that we stop going to Church or continue giving our money to them. Perhaps, take your children out of a Catholic School is also a way to get the message to ROME that the LAY FAITHFUL are trying to be the bridge, but these days, clericalism seems to be more of a priority. ROME, I hope you are finally seeing your non action producing a deterrent for the faith to flourish and please take note: my leaving the Catholic Church has everything to do with this fiasco with the NeoCatechumenal Way being made into a Archdiocesan Program for everyone in this Archdiocese. We humbly request for its suppression from Guam!

    1. Do not stop going to Mass. You put your soul in danger of mortal sin. Remember that you are not going to Mass for the Archbishop. You are going to Mass because Jesus Christ said DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME. And the Catholic Mass is the only place where that commandment is obeyed. Not to do it is to directly disobey Christ's command on the night before he died. Please get a free copy of my book WHY I'M CATHOLIC if you want that better explained. It's in the right sidebar.

    2. I feel like it, too. But I never would. The Church is my family for keeps. But I am BS.

  8. P.S. I drove across the Koror-Babeldaop bridge many times, the last time on September 21, 1996.

  9. It's funny how the "Haters" hate on Tim. When Tim is just pushing information to the masses for us to decide and make an educated decision . Thank you Tim for all that you do. To the Haters: Stop hating and start loving and caring for others.

  10. TIm is not here to build bridges. He is here to destroy the catholic church on Guam. He wants the faithful to believe in him. Tim will not stop! So, let those who follow a timmy go and be gone.

    2. On the contrary, it's KIKO ARGUELLO who is here to destroy the Catholic Church. Kiko is the ONE who wants the faithful to believe in him. Kiko will not stop! Let those who follow a kiko go and be gone!

    3. Kiko is a chain smoker. They don't live to 100 years. Things tend to deteriorate after the founder isn't around. Kind of shaky succession plans. But where this kind of dough is ...there will be a power struggle.

    1. Right. There's only one bridge that matters right now.

    2. Silly you...of course we're suppose to show proof we're making an effort to build bridges by wearing those bracelets! Just look at the amount under MISCELLANEOUS in that financial report. ..subsection: DIRT. Deep, deep DIRT. Oh, and make sure you have those bracelets on when Krebbs comes back on island!
