NOW IT'S OUR TURN

Yesterday, Ash Wednesday, was the deadline for Archbishop Apuron to respond to the questions submitted by the CCOG in behalf of 4000 local Catholics who signed its petition. As expected Archbishop Apuron did not respond. So now it's our turn.

Step 1: NO MONEY for the Appeal
Step 2: Will be announced tomorrow

By the way, ANTOINE RAY GARRIDO TAJALLE aka MR. A. T., we are waiting.

  3. I suspect Mr. A.T. will not respond as he may be chastised by Pontus Pius, Master Catechist. Same reason AAA does not respond, hunch is he was advised by lead catechist not to say anything..

  5. He has leeched off his people for too long, like a mosquito. And the thing about mosquitoes: the more they feed, the messier it is when the end finally comes for them.

    Watch for the Eagles.

  6. Tim,

Don't know where to put this comment. I was at the cathedral for the Ilagan funeral. Fr. Mike Crisostomo presided, Deacon Steve Martinez proclaimed the gospel, Msgr. James Benavente was the homilist, Fr. Danny did the final commendation, and Fr. Paul did the burial. Fr. Richard Kidd welcomed the body and was also present at the funeral mass. The mass was beautiful. Even the choir REVERENCE John Rivera and Frankie Gutierrez and Jacob Mafnas came. I was very happy to see the former MASTER OF CEREMONY for the cathedral Jonathan Pablo and two other servers from cathedral come back. Three Neos seminarian were there but they did not know what to do. The former servers had to tell them what to do. Shame! Shame! Shame! HOWEVER, missing was the PASTOR, the Archbishop, the RECTOR, Msgr. David Quitugua, and the VICE RECTOR, Fr. Michael the Neo and even the RECTOR in persona Coreen Leon Guerrero. This is their parishioner and they fail to fulfill their pastor duties by at least showing up. We all think and suspect they can not face the priests who were there for the mass and the family. I also saw in the St. Therese chapel before the funeral mass Fr. Julius the new priest did the mass in the chapel. Did they all have a meeting together? Coincidence? I don't think so. What a shame on them. The Ilagan family have been long time parishioners of the Agana church and this is how they treat them. Then again nothing surprises me these days.

    1. Long time parishioners of the Agana Cathedral-Basilica have roots that run deep and branches all over Guam. AAA knows better than to mess with them.

    2. Yes, we where also there and noted the same thing. It must be bittersweet for those above mentioned people. But, I'm glad they took the high road and are very much respected for taking a stand.

    3. Those priest will always be respected on Guam. As for the new group, they are definitely a lower caliber. It shows in everything they do.

    5. Tim, you need to do one report on this Funeral Mass. We would love to see the image of those priests all bonding together like a Band of Brothers

    6. 4:10pm. Only with the permission of the family. I don't want to bring the funeral for departed relative into this.

    7. It's sad the only time they are able to meet like this is during a funeral or wedding. Prayers to Art and the family during this difficult time.

    8. So AAA finally booted Deacon Steve to St Jude? I think Father Tom is the last one left? Then it's all Neo's! Sad because their masses are off and feel strange.

    9. Deacon Steve asked to be transferred. He probably knew that Apuron wanted to get rid of him but didn't want that story in the press too. Things are definitely sick. Very sick.

  7. There is a clergy meeting today. Nowadays I always get anxious of what will come from those meetings. Another assessment? The people are so not having it. The Catholic faithful have always been willing to give without counting the cost, but the Archbishop cannot go on like nothing is wrong and expect the people to be responsive and accommodate him.

On another note, this Saturday is another one of his celebrations (Priestly ordination, Bishop anniversary, or Archbishop anniversary). At least he still has joy and "meellions" to celebrate while his Archdiocese is in shambles. Reminds me of Nero playing away while Rome burned.
