TIM ROHR KICKED ME OUT

I've been hearing that Jonathan Bordallo is saying that I kicked him out of the meeting last week in Agana. For the sake of his personal credibility I sure hope Mr. Bordallo is not saying that and that others just have the story wrong.

As everyone who was there knows - at least 60 people - I invited Mr. Bordallo to the front to give his speech and then I sat down. As he began to speak about Msgr. James I asked him if he had spoken with Msgr. James. When he said no, the crowd began protesting.

One attendee stood up and said that we should all be thankful to Mr. Bordallo because "we just learned more about the real problem in 5 minutes listening to him than we did in listening to Tim for an hour."

Mr. Bordallo then left without my help.

I am posting this here because if my account is not true then I have just damaged my credibility and the credibility of this blog forever.

    5. I was there that night and everything happened just the way Tim asserted here. Some of us even asked that he be allowed to come to the front to speak, but then he started to pull out that infamous letter condemning Monsignor James to read to us. Furthermore, when asked whether Monsignor James was allowed to respond to the allegations, and he responded negatively, some in the crowd asked him to sit down or leave and conduct his own meetings. In fact, he stepped outside and continued to make his allegations to a few who would listen. So, NO, Tim did not kick him out. I would say the crowd turned against him when he revealed his true intentions. Would you question ALL of our CREDIBILITY? Doesn't matter, Tim. We and our God know the TRUTH. BTW, many in the crowd that night were long-time, fellow ACB parishioners as Mr. JB identified himself to be. In Fidelis, Darlene L.G. Perez

Oh, alas, alas, I have been found out. My intrepid maneuvers have been discovered. I confess. I confess. Twas I who wrote those evil letter and forged the Archbishop's name. Twas I who forged that deed to RMS and even forged the notary's signature and stamp! Twas I who altered my voice to sound like the archbishop when he said all those terrible things about Fr. Paul at the clergy retreat. Alas, alas. I have been found out. I must now pray and fast and weep and gnash my teeth and repent of my errors.

      LOL.

Too bad for you I have a piece of paper for almost everything I say. The only thing I don't have a piece of paper for is whether or not Apuron is actually doing all these evil things on his own or his simply obeying Gennarini and Pius. And despite my very trusted intel that he is simply taking orders, you do see our quandary don't you? Either the Archbishop is simply evil and he must be removed immediately or he is sick and must be removed immediately. Which do you prefer?

  7. So simple to attack Mr. Rohr who has only provided hard documented proof.NEOs do this "misdirecting of the issue" by not attacking the issue, but the person who brings them to light.

What was so hard about answering and explaining why Monsignor James were never properly given due process in his "relocation" or "reassignment". Why do you NEOs continue to send in the wrong person representative to do a job that should come from a Chancery representative? Don't send a boy to do a man's job. Same goes for Fr. Paul Gofigan. Why convict before even a trial takes place? It will always have dire consequences just like Mr. Bordallo's experience.

If the change at the Basilica was just that, a "rotation" of a priest (same goes for Fr. Paul), this probably would not have escalated to where it is today to include the forming of the CCOG, the thumbs down to the Annual Appeals effort, the dissatisfaction of those who are voicing their concerns today that has led to much disunity.

Thought we did not practice Communism within our Church. So sad.

I'm not sure which of the CCOG Meetings Anonymous (March 13, 2015 at 7:15 PM) attended, but I doubt we were at the same ones. Tim Rohr provided handouts, complete with directions on how to access the links to documents and/or audio files which would substantiate the information presented, to those in attendance. There was a Question/Answer session at the end. if Anonymous at 7:15 PM wanted to dispute any of what Tim had to say he/she only had to stand up to ask the question(s) verbally OR submit the question(s) on the index cards provided. People asked questions and made comments verbally and in writing at the meetings I attended.

I happened to be present at the Agana CCOG Meeting during which Tim, as indicated in this post, invited Jonathan Bordallo — who had begun his comments by cautioning us about listening to what Tim had to say from the back of the room — to come to the front and address those in attendance. Once Bordallo started to refer to the letter about Msgr. James that he wanted to share, Tim and other members of the audience asked if Bordallo et al had ever bothered to meet with Msgr. James. When Bordallo admitted that he and the other members of the Agana Finance Council had not, the audience voiced their displeasure in no uncertain terms. The gentlemen sitting nearby even stated that they were not interested in hearing what Bordallo had to say until AFTER he and the other members of the Agana Finance Council took the time to meet with Msgr. James. Eventually Bordallo realized that he would not be able to read his letter to the audience and stated he would be available outside for those who wanted more information and walked out.

For the record: Tim Rohr DID NOT KICK OUT Jonathan Bordallo. He was ousted by the audience after he made himself persona non grata all on his own by opening his mouth.

    According to Merriam Webster dictionary:

    Lie
    1. To make an untrue statement with intent to deceive
    2. To create a false or misleading impression

You went to a meeting? I find your statement odd, as all statements are made only with intent to support canon law with hard evidence, documentation, and facts. And all statements made at our meetings are shared to unveil half-truths, expose truth in its entirety, and made known from forthright sources. I say "our" as 143,500 Catholics on Guam are marching to the beat of ONE drum. If encouraging transparency is so wrong to you why waste your time at our meetings? Why attend one of our meetings? If you're not going for enlightenment may I sorrowfully presume you are meddling? Can you go to your NCW leaders and get straightforward answers with documentation? We all know the answer is no. And why even come to Junglewatch if you are so "sure" we are wrong? What are you not understanding friend? Is it the doctrine and dogma of the Catholic church? Is it the hard evidence available for your knowledge? Is it the truth? Or is it your embarrassment that what the NCW is doing is off course from all that encompasses Catholicism? In sociological research, Maslow's heirarchy of needs show that people would not waste time or energy into things they do not believe in or long for.

Guam's population is an est. 170,000 and 85% of the total population is 144,500 minus 1000 NCW. 143,500 Catholics on Guam enjoy the sanctity and peace of our one true holy Catholic and apostolic Church taught by our parents and grandparents and given to us all since the time of Jesus, St. Peter, the rest of the apostles, annointed intellects, faithful doctors of the church, and the like who were consecrated to share and leave their wisdom for us to practice and to protect.

Summing it up in less sophisticated terms so you don't confuse the truth with "lies": Catholics on Guam have enjoyed our way of worshiping like the rest of the Catholics through out the world. And based on all the FACTS presented in following Church traditions governed by the highest authority of the Church, Church dogma, Church doctrine, Canon Law, and the Pope himself, all God's children can see that the NCW is WAY off course from Catholicism.

Discernment is always encouraged by our church. No one is telling you personally or your friends that you can't be a part of the NCW, God loves all his children. And in a similar conversation I've had with a "friend" of the Born Again Christian Religion I say the same to you, it's the same destination just a different vehicle. Have you ever heard that Meddling can be a sickness? I sincerely hope you feel better.

  11. Some say Msgr Benavente and Fr Gofigan are scapegoats to feed the growing hunger of ncw for Catholic Church facilities. Some even say they are sacrificial lambs being offered by their spiritual father to appease his greedy bosses from a far country. They are all correct! It is clear to many that these priests are being given as distractions to hide the bigger issues that defy logic and common sense. We will be better off if all sides stick to the facts presented, either paperwork or blatant incongruencies, to resolve this issue. Most people are tired of this divide and these lies, the only real solution is to kick out apuron, his ill advisers and the ncw out of the island. Peace will reign. History has shown Chamorros have done this, and there is no reason why it cannot be repeated especially during Mes Chamorro! BTW, I knew Jonathan Bordallo as a young man. It is such a pity that he has not outgrown his needfulness and his lack of a backbone. Pitiful indeed, did not even ask Msgr Benavente for his side of the story, and now accuses a credible Catholic of lying! Proof, really, that ncw does not help needy people but exacerbates their mental condition in order to pursue a more diabolical plan. Well, times have changed!!! We have proven beyond reasonable doubt that Chamorros are not an "alien race who are not capable of understanding anglo-saxon principles." Self-determination runs deep and has dispersed colonial attitudes that crushes human dignity. Biba Chamorro!

    1. Colonial attitudes come from racist colonizers. How else can they justify calling Chamorros an "alien race" back then when racial lines were drawn by the founders and people of an emerging world power? We are seeing the same thing in Guam's Catholic church. The NCW interlopers, most especially Pius (who views us as monkeys), have similar colonial attitudes of the U.S. government when they acquired Guam.
People, look at the damage and havoc the NCW has created. Catholics can no longer trust the archbishop because his loyalty is no longer with the majority of the faithful Catholics being that he's joined tha NCW and now listens to his NCW superiors instead of his real boss, the pope. The NCW demand of their members to place their NCW community above family, friends, employment, and possessions. We can see how their demands detroys family ties and even goes further to the point of dividing our local Catholic community.
As a local Catholic who was born, raised, and educated in the Catholic schools here, never before have I felt so downhearted with what's been happening in our local Church. My faith development started in the early fifties (pre-Apuron) and I see a hugh difference comparing how the faithful were back then and how the faithful are now especially among the younger ones whose faith development falls under Apuron's watch.
Tim is so right in his analysis of Apuron's failed leadership. Tony needs to go NOW!!

  12. Mr. Tim Rohr was privately invited to meet with the Apostolic visitors as were other members of this community unknown to others. One of the reasons Tim was invited to meet is because of the documented strict ethical journalist standard he maintained in his publication. For this reason alone we know him to be a man of integrity and trust . His jounnalism has simply documented and written about facts allowing Guam Catholics to see the truth what is happening to,their church. Mr. Rohr is a dedicated to the church of Guam assisting in reining integrity in a church which has gone so wrong.

But Jonathan, let's not over-state what we older Cathedral parishioners, the ones who presented Lanchon Kotpus, hosted Our Lady of Fatima, family belens and weekly contributors to the Umatuna in the form of advertising, cleaning, painting, repairing and loving the church as our home.
You did not get your sacraments at the Cathedral, did you? What have you done besides suck up to the neo's to be recognized and umm...used? Don't know why he was wearing purple, because when Fr Paul, our true pastor, was in charge, he was always very careful to make sure the liturgy was correct. That is why the neo hated him, because he refused to bastardize the mass for the sake of that cult.
Oh my, look at the deacon at the Cathedral, not only wearing purple, but reading sacred scripture from a three ring binder. Maybe AAA had to sell the gold from the book of the gospels to pay for air con maint at the Cathedral Monsignor David is successfully running into the ground!

    1. No doubt there are non-neo priests who don't pay attention to the norms. In fact, this is why the neo's feel they have license to do whatever they want because for decades priests have taken many personal liberties with the liturgy. And there are probably many who just don't know. Sad but true. As for flowers "on the altar" perhaps you meant "around the altar". Flowers are NEVER allowed on the altar (the mensa) itself notwithstanding the many pictures of Archbishop Apuron celebrating "the eucharist" on a neo-flower laden altar...oops, table. Maybe that explains it.

    5. The issue with liturgical abuse does not lie solely on the errors or even, for the most part, the laity or clergy who commit them. The issue is that they don't stand a chance for correction if the Bishop of the Diocese promotes them.

With the NCW, it's about an absence in correction from the shepherd of our Church on Guam and his endorsement of the divergence through active participation in the NCW liturgical innovations.

In other words, abuses and errors do occur even in the "normal" mass, but rarely are they encouraged. Not only does the Archbishop allow them to occur, he sanctions them when he celebrates in their service.

    9. At 6:47. Yes, you are correct, there are sometimes flowers on the altar itself when the pope says his daily Mass. Unfortunately, this pope has taken certain liberties with the liturgy that create confusion. His "washing of the feet" on Holy Thursday at a prison where he washed the feet of women was one example - the norms call for only men since the idea is not to wash anyone's feet but to re-present what happened at the Last Supper. However, the pope is the ultimate arbiter of the liturgy and can change the rules, if only for himself. It would be helpful though if he explained it. Here is what the General Instruction of the Roman Missal says:

305, ...Floral decoration should always show moderation and be arranged around the altar rather than on the altar table.

      306. For only what is required for the celebration of the Mass may be placed on the altar table: namely, from the beginning of the celebration until the proclamation of the Gospel, the Book of the Gospels; then from the Presentation of the Gifts until the purification of the vessels, the chalice with the paten, a ciborium, if necessary, and, finally, the corporal, the purificator, the pall, and the Missal.

  19. DENIAL OF THE SACRIFICE OF EUCHARIST
The Mass, for Kiko and Carmen, is only “the memorial of the Pasch of Jesus, of his passage from death to life”, and again: “The notion of sacrifice is a condescension for the pagan mentality (…). At the beginning of the Church, in the Theology of the Mass, there was no sacrifice of Jesus, no sacrifice of the Cross, no Calvary, but only a sacrifice of praise.”This is a typical Protestant conception of the Mass. Let us quote here some canons of the Council of Trent (22nd Session): “If anyone say that in the Mass, a true and real sacrifice is not offered to God (…), let him be anathema (Canon 1).If anyone says that the sacrifice of the Mass is that only of praise and thanksgiving, or that it is a mere commemoration of the sacrifice consummated on the Cross but not a propitiatory one [that is, a sacrifice to appease God – ed.] (…) let him be anathema (Canon 3).”

    DENIAL OF THE REAL PRESENCE
Kiko and Carmen ridicule the traditional practices of the Catholic Church: “the tabernacles, the Feast of Corpus Christi, the solemn expositions of the Blessed Sacrament, processions, adorations, genuflections, visits to the Blessed Sacrament, to think that by communion we put Jesus in our soul, thanksgiving after communion, private Masses without faithful (…) all these practices minimize the Eucharist and are far from the spirit of Easter.” But, what really is important for them?“The most important thing does not consist in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, but in the Eucharist as it is the mystery of the Pasch (…). As God was present in the first Pasch, when the Hebrew fled from Egypt, so Jesus is present by his spirit, resurrected from the dead.” To this unusual and strange definition of the Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, dangerously similar to the Protestant doctrine, let us quote the definition given by the Catechism of Saint Pius X: “The Holy Eucharist is a sacrament in which, by the marvelous conversion of the whole substance of bread into the body of Jesus Christ, and that of wine into His Precious Blood, is contained truly, really and substantially, the Body, the Blood, the soul and Divinity of the same Lord Jesus Christ under the appearance of bread and wine.”

  20. If the NCW has approximately 1,000 members, I suggest that Archbishop Apuron move his Chancery office to the Yona Seminary and give up San Ramon Hill to another bishop to lead the 143,500 of us Catholics who are NOT in the NCW.

On behalf of our Archdiocese, however, we would like them to pay the Catholic Faithful on Guam, at least $50 million for that land and building. They are then free to try and get people to join their religion or cult and go off to missions around the world, and most importantly, stay away from our parishes and parishioners not wanting to join their NCW cult.

We don't need "NCW missionaries" here in Guam and the rest of the Marianas for that matter.

In fact, we are pleased with the true missionary priests and brothers whom we have already in the Capuchin and Jesuit Orders, respectively.

We want to continue to send our young men to true formation houses for the diocesan priesthood or the Capuchin or Jesuit priesthood to serve us here in the Marianas and Micronesia. And for the time being, that would still have to be off-island. It is more cost-effective to pay the tuition, room and board for our seminarians at an off-island seminary than to run a seminary here in Guam for the few young men from the Marianas and Micronesia wanting to be diocesan priests.

We can petition Rome to give us another Archbishop to run our Archdiocese of Agana.

Only because Archbishop Apuron is in charge are these NCW "responsibles', "elects', "presbyters", etc. riding roughshod over all of us including our diocesan, Jesuit and Capuchin clergy.

But if they want to practice their faith as they desire, they can build their own church buildings on private land, since they eventually will take some of the lands of people in the Way. They can set themselves up just like our brethren in the Protestant religions. We won't have to "bump heads" with each other. We can then live peacefully with each other. I think they will eventually realize they will not be able to survive on the "peanuts" they get from just 1,000 members of their cult. It may mean they cannot afford all the luxuries they are enjoying at the expense of the 143,500 Catholic Faithful. When all is said and done, they probably will find that only a small chapel is all they can afford to operate. However, they will have their own Archbishop, and about 14 or so NCW priests to say their Eucharistic service twice or more times a day, every day, so all their priests can still "practice" saying their "mass" service. Or as they have told the Pope, they are ready to go to China. Didn't Fr. Fabio get sent to "somewhere in Asia"? I heard he was seen running around Rome waiting to go to China. . . Geez, really?
