OPEN LETTER TO FR. LUIS CAMACHO

Dear Fr. Luis,

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa (strikes breast). On behalf of those who have falsely accused you of having sex with a minor at a secluded beach in Agat, I apologize. Thanks to Fr. Adrian Cristobal's recent statement to the press, we now know the truth.

In his statement, Fr. Cristobal finally cleared up the matter for us saying: "Father Luis Camacho was accused last year for ‘custodial interference’ and not for sexual misconduct with a minor.'

Gosh, we are really sorry Fr. Luis. Since we have no reason ever to doubt the veracity of a statement from such an esteemed man of the cloth as the venerable Chancellor, shame on us.

However, I do hope you will have some pity on us given the information we were given at the time of your arrest. You see Fr. Luis, what we the public saw was:

  • Your arrest.
  • Your immediate resignation as pastor of two parishes.
  • The commencement of a canonical investigation (or at least the news of it).
  • Your sudden disappearance from Guam.
  • And absolutely no subsequent information from the Archbishop for more than a year.

Given all of the above, and the news that your arrest involved your being with a minor girl, well, I think you can see how naive, dirty-minded people like myself could have jumped to conclusions. (Please see above mea culpa's.)

What we cannot understand Fr. Luis, is how you can still be under investigation more than a year later. As Fr. Cristobal's statement to the press says:
"While the canonical investigation is still going on, evaluating also the recent legal conclusion of the case, no further information can be provided at this time."
How can this be, Fr. Luis. How can this Archbishop continue to investigate you? You didn't do anything? Even the charge of "custodial interference" appears to have been EXPUNGED given that the AG referred a reporter to Guam's Expungement Law when he inquired about it.

Yet, Fr. Cristobal tells us that you are not only still under investigation by the Archbishop but that you are, even now, under "supervised ministry." What's with THAT, Fr. Luis?

Are you not an ordained priest? Why are you being supervised? You did nothing wrong. There is no record of anything. The DIANA even says so.

Why Fr. Luis, oh, Why (wiping tears) are you being so unjustly persecuted by this Archbishop who continues to investigate you and hide you and keep you from your beloved home when you've done absolutely nothing wrong?

Well, Fr. Luis, I do hope you will hold up during this persecution. As you know, our crosses can make us stronger, and yours is a particularly heavy one to bear. Persecuted and investigated and hidden and banished...all by your own Spiritual Father. Well, if it's any consolation Fr. Luis, you are not alone. I understand there are far more than Fr. Paul and yourself who have been similarly treated.

Try not to lose heart, Fr. Luis. I am sure that the Archbishop will one day see the error of his ways and will publicly clear your name. In fact, now that the Chancellor has informed us that there is no case against you and there never was (since it was expunged), I look forward to his next statement welcoming you back to your home diocese, fully restored to your former positions, and a clear statement to the rest of us that there never was any wrong doing of any kind on your part...even though you have been investigated for over a year.

I simply do not know how you can bear up under this, Fr. Luis. From the looks of the recent pictures of you, though, you seem to be doing just fine. Such a brave man, you are, Fr. Luis. Holding up so well under all this for more than a year, and still showing Joy, Courage, Peace, and not the least temptation in the company of so many seventeen year old girls there in Qatar.

You are simply a credit to the firm formation we know exists at RMS. A true shining example for the rest of us to emulate as we suffer through life bearing our own crosses (more tears).

Mea culpa, Fr. Luis. Mea maxima culpa (pounds breast repeatedly.)

  2. sin must be clearly defined as sin from the pulpit. It is up to Church leaders to define evil - not to accommodate evil.~Jesus. Mary and Joseph, pardon us!

  3. Yes, Luis Camacho, it was our fault that you were caught redhanded in a compromising position with a minor. You were never meant to be discovered. We apologize that we have dragged you into this tragic situation when all along we just wanted to be holy and obedient people of faith. We are sorry that we have not made allowances for your human instincts and saw you only as a priest who has promised obedience and celibacy. Shame on us for expecting the best from our clergy and for holding our clergy acountable for what they say on the pulpit on Sundays. Shame on us for criticizing what the Archbishop and his staff obviously endorsed as their solution. Shame on us for sounding an alarm for potential harm towards other girls of minor age, and for trying to avoid possible financial repercussions to us for shuffling you around the world to unsuspecting youth. Miserere nobis. Miserere nobis. My mind is just so overwhelmed, we seem to live in a suspended reality, that we inhabit an alternate universe. All our concepts of right and wrong as taught by Church Magisterium have been turned upside down, sorry Luis Camacho, we definitely belong to different Catholic churches.

  4. The KAKA filled Zombies with terrible grammar from the Dungbats Blog wants to know what name to call us Jungle bloggers....

Rohr's open letter to Fr. Luis perfectly shows what is wrong with the jungle. This letter is an exhibit of a sick mind and all the vices a pervert minded person will throw in to bring down others with whom he cannot compete.

Showing fake sympathy in once sentence and then viciously attacking and humiliating in the next. Trying to talk compassion in once second but then launching a vitriolic joke to mock and ridicule in the next. Playing the guard of good intentions one minute just to make accusations by the most obnoxious things in the next. This is not making justice. This is a demoniac in service of the troublemaker, creating mess and deceiving people.

This open letter is the product of the vilest mind of a sick soul. Someone is so convinced of his moral superiority that he feels free to mentally blackmail, intellectually abuse and morally terrorize others. How to call this kind of people? How to call Rohr? How to call these jungle maniacs?

Poor souls in great need of repentance.

    1. LOL. They're not bright enough to 1) know that the whole thing is a mockery and 2) I am mocking them, not Luis, since it is they who insist Luis did nothing wrong. Fine, then call off the investigation. LOL! But it's true. I do enjoy being superior to them. I do keep them busy, don't I! ROTFL

The fact is that I caught them with their pants down and they have no defense, this the personal attack. So much fun!

    2. As I highlighted yesterday, in my little expose, called:
"Troubling voyage in kiko's warped logic"
You find again the mimetism in this childish analysis.

      A) there is not even the slightest recognition, that this was all made in jest, to make fun of their own silly arguments.
B)Victimisation is on full blast. (Poor innocent Fr Louis, victim of such injustice)
C)Here we go one step forward, now we are sick minds, and acting on behalf of the unnamed vilain...LOL
All this for pointing out their contradictions. Don't forget contradiction is an attack, which itself is persecution.

Using your own tactics to turn it against the jungle.....
"Using fake sympathy in one sentence and then viciously attacking and humiliating in the next."
Silly me, I thought that method had been copyrighted by Pius??

Only one answer to these kind of attacks: Don't call us, we'll call you!!!
      Funny guy.

    3. Yep. I even beat them to it, referring to myself as "naive and dirty minded" for "jumping to conclusions, and they didn't get it. LOL

    4. Neos are like 7-UP...Never had it, never will. So easy to screw with their minds.

    5. Ha ha ha, and more ha ha ha! Hard to believe before that the neos are such morons, but their stupidity has been confirmed not once but many times. They really believed that the Open Letter to Luis Camacho was a sincere letter of contrition and not mockery of the most comedic degree! Are these people getting whacked on the head to submission by Pius? In the first place, why should Tim or any rational human being apologize to Luis for his misdeed? Wherever people may be in this continuum of divide, we all have to agree that what he did was objectively wrong. He had no business taking that girl out on a private field trip or beach tour during school hours ever! The Archdiocese, neo handlers, school authorities, law enforcement, and the child's parents all share the brunt of negligence for allowing Luis to get away with this travesty. Now for him to shamelessly get involved in youth ministry in a volatile and "not-so-open to Christians" part of the world is just typical ncw stupidity!

    6. Damn...they just keep showing how stupid they are. They didn't get the sarcasm of your open letter to Louis? As mentioned so many times in the jungle, you can't fix stupid. As for a name for the "jungle maniacs", I can think of many but "a true and authentic Catholic" suits me just fine.

  5. There you have it folks...Confirmed by the KAKA filled Dungbat....NCW is a different religion...Atar Server and her family are not NCW...They need to build their own church and stop abusing our resources...

    Dear Anonymous at 9:40 am,

Why are you so anxious for the investigation to be finished. Let us hope that the investigation is thorough and every basis covered, especially since the case is going to be expunged. According to the news report, the Archdiocese is also investigating the reason for the expungement. Perhaps, that would explain why the girl and her parents decided not to press any charges. By the way, the girl and her parents are not in the NCW.

    2. Another blah, blah, blah from Diana...
Hypocrisy at its best. She wants a thorough investigation, and every bases (I guess, or is it really basis) covered.
Yet, in the same sentence, she gloats that the case is going to be expunged.... as if she cannot wait for a new case to be swept under the rug, again!

Then of course she assures us that the parents are not part of the NCW, which might explain why they are so eager to throw them under the Bus.
Oh well! another demonstration of the fruits!, the fruits!

  6. Here's what's really going on. Apuron never initiated a canonical investigation. We know that because he hustled Luis out of here within hours. And with both the girl and her parents out of the way Apuron had only to wait for the statute of limitations to run out and then they could say, "see, what case?"

  7. LOL Tim, I read the letter with a contrite voice as you (obviously) mocked the pathetic rebuffs from the bluff of fools. Have you had any calls from the producers of soapbox operas?
Unbelievable, yet very disturbing because the Diana's & Jokers Wild are Church shepherds responsible for the souls of the diocese. And it is no consolation that similar scenarios are rampant throughout the Church. The "smoke of Satan" has entered the sanctuary. Thank you for your perseverance! You've become a model for all aspiring journalist. (get to the truth)

  10. OMG!!!! THIS IS GOING BEYOND THE LINE AND MAYBE THAT'S ONE OF THE REASON WHY SOME CATHOLIC PEOPLE CHANGING THERE RELIGION AND STOP GOING TO CHURCH. HOW MANY MORE VICTIMS DOES APURON NEED TO MOLEST.. MAYBE, UNTIL THE VICTIM ENDED UP KILLING THEMSELVE OR DYING AND THAT'S THE ONLY TIME THEY WILL START LOOKING INTO THIS MATTER... WE PRAY THAT THE POPE TAKE APURON OUT ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER PRIEST, PASTOR OR WHATEVER THEY CALL THERE NAMES ARE OR THE FBI AND POLICE TAKE THEM IN TO SERVE THERE TIME IN PRISON. THAT IS SO SHAMEFUL, DELIVERING THE WORD OF GOD AND TELLING PEOPLE TO HAVE FAITH AND TRUST.. I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO BELIEVE ANYMORE THE PRIEST OR THE PASTOR.. IT'S MORE BETTER OFF THAT WE PRAY ALONE OR WITH OUR FAMILIES BECAUSE JUST LIKE ALL THE PRIEST, PASTOR, THE SISTERS AND ARCHBISHOP SAY.. OUR FAITH IS LIKE A SIZE OF A MUSTARD SEED. WHICH IS VERY TRUE NOT ALL PEOPLE WE BELIEVE IN AND HAVE FAITH IN... "GOD KNOWS BETTER" SO LETS US JUST LIVE IT IN GODS HAND....
