WHAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW

Archdiocese does not want us to know the extent of its wealth to include all of the stocks and bonds it owns.

I am working on a full portfolio of all the properties owned or controlled by the Archdiocese as well as Apuron personally. What I won't be able to find so easily is how much is owned in financial instruments like stocks and bonds. We know of some.

In 2000, Apuron wrote the chairman of Gannett Corp., owner of the PDN:

You may enjoy the whole letter. Apuron tries to bully the chairman into shutting down the PDN. LOL Here it is. Thanks insider. Guess what else I have, Tony :)

  1. My my, so brother tony owns stock in the gannet news. lol. What a mission poor diocese they've claimed to apply for all these grants from the states. Sad!!!

  2. The plot just thickens and tony I'm sure is making good in hiding since he has more than enough stocks to retire. What's more sad is to see the homeless families sleeping in the front doors of the cathedral while tony drives his bling bling ride and owns several properties. That's where the dioceses priorities are at. What a stinkin joke!

  3. Apurun could not have penned this letter, he may have signed it! The author of this letter is probably an attorney.
Are the shares his or the property of the Archdiocese?

    1. You're right. He doesn't write his own letters. The shares belong to the Archbishop of Agana, or at least they did.

  4. Woah the church owns shares in Gannett? That's a major corporation. What other stocks do they have???

    1. Quite a huge number of Bank of Guam stocks owned by the Church. I was at a stockholder meeting not long ago and the Archdiocese was represented and had quite a few votes.

    2. I was wondering why Jeff Cook was local legal rep for the
archdiocese. Could it be the BOG connection as a major shareholder? Hmmmm....

  5. And the chairman of the Gannet Co. Inc said, "Who the F#%k does this Apuron fella think he is"?

  6. Continue to dig people. Apuron had 30 years of financially raping the Church. List his properties, stocks, bank accounts, connectios etc. Don't let Tony off the hook.

  7. I saw Apuron's signature on a letter from the past few years and he is still signing as OFM, Cap. Which means he has a vow of poverty... literally, that vow prevents a religious from owning ANYTHING as long as he is a member. The worst is that he is a Capuchin, and they are supposed to be more into the vow of poverty because of the example of St. Francis. He may have been able to make decisions as Abp of Agana to dispose of properties or stocks but I don't think he can "own" any of them. Still, his lifestyle surely showed that he acted as if he did.

    1. He took a page from the Neocatechumenal Way..they don't own anything but they enjoy other people's money, properties etc.

    2. No. He is permitted to remain a Capuchin but is no longer subject to the vows of poverty or obedience. Apparently he doesn't give a crap about chastity either.
