It was recommended to Burke that he interview me. He declined. I understood. I had no official standing and no position in the archdiocese. In fact, I was really just a "trouble-maker." Nevertheless, after Burke returned to the Vatican, his secretary requested that I send a notarized copy of what I would have told Burke if he had interviewed me. In a way, it worked out for the best. In writing, I was much better able to relate everything as I had come to know it. 

It would be awhile before Apuron would be removed as Archbishop of Agana, and more than another year before the Pope himself would deny Apuron's appeal and officially and finally remove Apuron as Archbishop of Agana. For the record, I set out to do none of this. And my notarized testimony to Cardinal Burke makes that clear. The names of which I do not have permission to publish and whose record is not already public are redacted.

I KNOW THERE WILL BE AN AVALANCHE

Note: For several years I have been urged to write a book about the happenings in the Archdiocese of Agana from approximately 2013 to the present. Yes, there have always been several others. They've known for years about Apuron, but now they have had enough. The stories coming out are simply horrid. BTW, I just received a phone call from the person who took the three gentlemen to meet with the attorney today. After the meeting my friend met with the attorney privately. The attorney advised that the three are willing to go "all the way," meaning they want to go public about their abuse. Once they do, I know that there will be an avalanche. I've been listening to the stories for many years. Feel free to advise me on anything I should know or do...

HOW TO ANSWER THE ABORTION QUESTION

"If you're asking me if it is ever okay to kill a helpless, defenseless, innocent human being, the answer is no."

This is how to answer the abortion question. And here's why.

First, it puts you in control of the question. Your interrogator has most likely framed the question in the context of "choice," reproductive freedom, or even "health care." And your "pro-life" answer, such as "I am for life," I oppose abortion," I believe life begins at conception," etc. is easily translated into your being against choice, against freedom, against health care, against women, etc.

THERE'S NOBODY THAT'S REALLY WILLING TO FIGHT FOR IT

WELL, THAT'S WHO YOU VOTED FOR, GUAM

That an unborn child is a human being is no longer the issue. Science has long demonstrated that the unborn child is not "potential life" as Roe termed it, but a real, living, growing human person. 

The issue now is who can kill that child and when. That's the only issue. And the Supreme Court has said that it's up to you, i.e. the states.

In Guam, given who we just re-elected, apparently Guamanians support not only killing an unborn child all the way until birth, but even after the child is born to a mother who doesn't want to be a mother. (Per the now-governor's testimony to in opposition to a bill mandating normal medical care for a child who survived a failed abortion.)

This is not to say good or bad. This is to say this is Guam: one of the world's most "Catholic" populations per capita. We need to stop lying to ourselves. Guam is NOT "pro-life." Guam is pro-death. Over and over again the majority has voted for death. And we just did that again yesterday.

But not only are the majority of Guam voters "pro-death in the womb," they are pro-self-extermination since nearly 2/3 of abortions are of Chamorro children while the Chamorro population of Guam has sunk to less than 30%.

In 2012, I publicly engaged now-Governor Lou Leon Guerrero on the abortion issue. After she called in to K57 to try and take me out I wrote her the following letter. However, before I copy the letter, I am copying a comment from another very prominent person of CHamoru heritage (name withheld):

"This is so powerful and I pray that this fact will wake her up, at least that part in her regarding her ethnicity as she is so vocal and in the vanguard about saving our Chamorro heritage! It is ironic that in her zeal to protect the right to abort, she is aborting her own race to extinction!"

Dear Former Senator Lou Leon Guerrero, 
 
 This morning on K57 you asked "Where are his facts?' in reference to my earlier comment that there is abortion on Guam almost every day.
 
Please follow this link for a copy of Guam Medical Records abortion report as required by law for the years 2008 through 2011. From 2008 to 2011 there were 1,157 reported abortions over 1,260 days. That equals one abortion every 1.089 days.
 
Also, Senator, please note the ethnicity data: 642 or 55.49% of those abortions were performed on Chamorro mothers. I am hoping that you see that there is a crisis here.
 
Also, the PDN reported recently that there are nine births per day on Guam which means that we are aborting one out of every ten children with more than half of them being of Chamorro descent. 
 
Does this concern you? And if you do not support informed consent legislation to at least advise mothers with unwanted pregnancies about adoption, then what do you support? Or are these numbers okay with you?
 
Please check with CPS. They have reported that even though they have a waiting list of more than ten parents in waiting, they have not had a child available for adoption in five years. 
 
Something is terribly wrong, Senator, terribly wrong. Your people are dying.

However, during a vote re the Esperansa Project backed bill for informed consent for abortion, Senator Cruz did the right thing, and I told him so. Note: this bill, as enacted into law, is now at the root of the ACLU suit to permit telemedicine abortions.

Dear Senator Cruz, 
 
 
There is probably no other senator with whom I have battled more in public than yourself. It is certainly no secret that you and I have been on very opposite sides of some very sensitive issues. And there certainly has been no love lost between us over the last few years. 
 
The reason for the letter is to thank you for being the voice of reason yesterday. I'm sure you did not like the spectacle that Bill 52 had become any more than anyone else did. However, you put your feelings aside and spoke clearly about what Bill 52 was actually about, saying:
 
"It's not what anybody else thinks what it is. It's not going to affect whether or not one is pro-life or pro-choice. It's just allowing the women to be informed."
 
No clearer words were spoken yesterday. But beyond that, you said something even more true when you said at some point "this problem is going to have to be treated holistically."
 
You are so right. A society's abortion rate is a measure of its inner collapse. Informed consent legislation is really only a last gasp bandaid to try in some small way to slow the bleeding of a society that has already cut itself - as our newspapers so often remind us.
 
I believe your Bill 415, despite the reservations with some elements in it which I shared in my written testimony in support of your bill, is a large step in the right direction. 
 
I admit, given our previous battles, I was suspicious of your intentions. I even said so on TV. Unfortunately, most of my relations with the Legislature have been immensely soured and my suspicions raised since the night of November 26, 2010 (the debate over Bill 54-30), and a six-month long battle to obtain a copy of the journal for that session.
 
However, your clear and reasoned approach to the issue at large yesterday, in the midst of so much emotion, was a true example of how personal feelings could be put aside and the true work of the legislature can actually get done. 
 
Coming towards the end of the session as it did, your words brought a certain peace to a terribly turbulent situation. And I confess to being the one that probably started that turbulence. I make no apology. I have been fighting to have a fair debate on informed consent legislation since February of 2009 when Bill 54-30 was first introduced. 
 
Whether Bill 52-31 would have ever seen the light of day had I not attacked those who attacked it, is anybody's guess. But we're beyond that now. And again I simply want to thank you for what you said yesterday and I want to express my support for Bill 415, at least in its intent if not in detail - something I would be willing to work with you on.
 
In fact, Senator Cruz, you have my vote. In fact, this is why I am sending this letter and making it public, and copying it to the press. In fact, Senator Cruz, if you had voted "no" on Bill 52-31 you would have still had my vote for simply being intellectually honest and saying what you said about it, which I repeat here:
 
"It's not what anybody else thinks what it is. It's not going to affect whether or not one is pro-life or pro-choice. It's just allowing the women to be informed." 
 
I was so very impressed by how you rose above the personal and did the people's business and that deserves a vote. You will have mine.

CATHOLIC ADULT STUDY GROUP RESTARTS

 Friends, 

Thanks to Chuck White for picking up what we had to put down a couple years ago. I am unable to continue so it's great that Chuck has decided to put this together. It appears that the format of a "discussion group" will be the same and I'm glad to see that the group will be beginning with a study of the Roman Catechism (Council of Trent) in which Catholic teaching was infallibly and clearly proclaimed. Thank you for your years of faithfulness to our study group which continued for almost 15 years. So now may it continue and many prayers and hopes that it will continue to benefit and edify all those who attend. Please contact Chuck directly for more information. See attached.

THE CHURCH OF NICE MEETS EVIL, STAYS SILENT.......AND........???

This famous phrase, often attributed to John Burke, was in fact part of a longer speech by John Stewart Mill during an 1867 inaugural address at the University of St Andrews.

"Let not anyone pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm, if he takes no part and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man, who without a protest, allows wrong to be committed in his name, and with the means he helps to supply, because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject."

Both messages are clear, in the sense that like the Pharisees of last Sunday's gospel, many people of this Church of Nice on Guam, continue to exalt themselves, for all the "good work" they do, rather than taking an humble approach about the things they fail to do.

Lets explain....

Four years ago we elected the most vociferous advocate for infanticide on Guam, as governor of our island.

 Tim Rohr justly pointed this out in his recent letter to the editor (which can be found in our archives) .

This was done with the acquiescence of many Catholics, if not with their active participation. We have often demonstrated the impossibility for Catholics to allow for the murder of innocent children, while claiming to be Catholic, and presenting themselves to receive the sacraments of the Church, and/or  put forward both their advocacy for murder, and their claim that they belong to the Church.

This creates what is known as a scandal.

During the last four years, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero-Cook has spent unknown amount of Guam's taxpayers' funds to search for an abortionist to come on Guam. Her partner in crime and willing enabler widely known as "Calamity Jane" aka Jane Flores, has been plotting to bring the plan forward, and ultimately created a situation of false narrative to allow for murder activists from Hawaii to be able to prescribe the "morning after pill" to women wanting to abort chemically. ( a dangerous procedure which can have catastrophic consequences for the women involved.)

Four years ago, when pro life Catholic activists were getting ready to confront then candidate LLG for her position on child murder, the all powerful Fr. Richards advised them (wrongly) that the Church had to remain neutral on the subject, in order not to lose its Tax exempt status. We, in these pages denounced such decision, as being cowardly, unethical and immoral. This was enabling evil by remaining silent.

Later, after her election and the return of Archbishop Byrnes from one of his many absences, he sent to the governor a personal admonition (as suggested by canon law) through a hand delivered letter to the Governor. 

Move forward four years.

Fr Richards has returned to the frozen steppes of Michigan, Archbishop Byrnes is still on medical leave, and the Archdiocese is as silent as ever, regarding the evil done in our names.

This in itself would still be upsetting, but unfortunately, there is a lot worse.

None other than the Archdiocese official press apparatus: Umatuna Si Yu'us was clueless enough to allow on their official Facebook page, pictures of some of the influential Catholic groups on island: namely the Court of our Lady of Kamarin #2047 of Hagatna and the Court of Maria Rainan y Familia #2450 of the St Anthony St Victor Parish, meeting with the Governor for photo ops, subsequently used as political ads, "to embrace works of faith, acts of love and the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and dignity for all" (I am choosing not to translate this woke language into English, as to not insult our readers)

This apparently is okay for the chancery, and Tony Diaz who appears to opine this was part of the neutrality necessary not to loose the Archdiocese tax exempt status.

The dystopian world that surrounds us, has seeped within the ranks of the Church of Nice, thinking it is okay to endorse advocates of child murder, just as they kept silent for years when some of the same monsters were abusing sexually our own children

As Jesus reminded us last Sunday: "whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted"

Do not remain silent this upcoming election. Do not allow evil to move forward because you did nothing to stop it. Our Archdiocese is painfully attempting to close the chapter of sexual abuse in our ranks. This was only possible thanks to the silence of people in the know. Lets not allow Lou Leon Guerrero-Cook to continue to advocate for the holocaust of the innocent children of our island.

Shame to the Catholics in Name Only who are considering doing so. 

KLITZKIE: IT'S WHAT ATTY. GENERAL LEEVIN CAMACHO DIDN'T DO

Attorney General Leevin Camacho marshaled enough judicial authority to employ the magic words, “void ab initio,” to deep-six PL 20-134, former Sen. Belle Arriola’s anti-abortion law. 

“Void ab initio” means having no legal effect from inception. A law, agreement, sale, or other action that is void has no legal effect. A void action cannot be ratified or validated. End of story, right?

Maybe not. The answer one gets depends on the question he asks. Here’s what Leevin said, “We limit our opinion in this case to instances where laws are passed in clear violation of established constitutional rights.” So Leevin limited the question he asked. 

But try this: type in “effect of an unconstitutional statute” on Google search. The first hit you’ll get is an ancient Indiana U. law review. 

Thumb through the pages and you’ll find this entry: “…the theory that the statute is void ab initio should be tested. Suppose a case where the court declares a statute unconstitu­tional today, and then six months hence reverses this decision and decides that the statute is constitutional. If the void ab initio doctrine be applied, the first decision would leave a situation similar to that described by the Indiana court, as if no statute had been passed.

“[But] All courts seem to agree that the void statute (if such a contradiction be permitted) is resurrected and is effective as from the date of its enactment. The purported enactment which was said to have been fatally smitten at its birth by the constitution has by some legal hocus pocus been cured of its congenital disease. This is also the Indiana rule.” 

So, the “Indiana rule”— take note, all courts!— mandates the resurrection of a void ab initio (dead) statute. What Leevin didn’t do is ask this question: “Is an unconstitutionally void ab initio (dead) statute resurrected when a court overrules the constitutional infirmity?” 

Sure, we’re closer to Indonesia than Indiana but Leevin might have reached a different result had he plumbed the depth and tested the breadth of the Indiana rule in American jurisdictions.

Leevin told us: “We recognize that ‘[a]n analysis of the constitutionality (or organicity) of a local statute must begin with the general rule that legislative enactments are presumed to be constitutional.’” Along the same lines, attorneys general routinely defend the statutes in their respective jurisdiction if such can be accomplished absent the use of an antiemetic. 

If it can be argued that the Dobbs decision is the talisman that resurrects Belle Arriola’s law, then Leevin should move to dissolve the district court injunction that prevented the enforcement of that law. Otherwise, the answer to his truncated question is the death of Belle Arriola’s law. If he moves to dissolve the injunction, then we’ll have a judicial declaration of the viability of Belle’s law. (There’s no need to seek a hokey declaratory judgment as Leevin did in the quarantine hotel procurement matter.)

In the benediction of his opinion, Leevin tells us, “Moving forward, difficult moral and policy questions such as the decision of whether to allow or limit abortion must be decided by the Legislature, not the courts.” 

Our legislature has spoken unanimously on the moral and policy question. The reason that the voice of the people, i.e., the legislature, is muted and mooted is apparent. 

Because the 20th Guam Legislature did not have the power to pass P.L. 20-134 in the first place, it is void ab initio and has had no legal effect on Guam since its passage.

It’s not what Leevin did; it’s what Leevin didn’t do.

Per an Oct. 21 news story in this publication, “lawyers for two Hawaii-based doctors have filed their answer to the brief submitted by the Office of the Attorney General in the ongoing appeal of an injunction placed on Guam's in-person consultation mandate for abortions.”

WHEN A SELF PROFESSED CATHOLIC PRESIDENT'S JUSTICE DEPARTMENT PERSECUTE REAL CATHOLICS

 

Joe Biden is a self proclaimed Catholic who advocates for the murder of unborn children. He has a propensity to lecture the country on a whole range of what he believes are moral markers, which he has a tendency not to abide to.

One of a growing and disturbing trend of the Biden administration, under the direction of a former nominee for the Supreme Court, who is now the Attorney General of the United States has been the weaponization of the Justice Department and of the FBI against perceived opponents of the President and his Party.

The latest victim of this dangerous trend is a Catholic Father of 7 children, who is anti-abortion.

Just a few days back, this peaceful and principled man, was awaken at his house in the early hours of the morning by a squad of jack boot, heavily armed SWAT team of the FBI, who was serving a warrant for his arrest, regarding a misdemeanor incident that took place months ago in the Philadelphia area.

If you thought that the persecution of Catholics for being witnesses of their faith only happened in third world countries, or in Muslim areas, and that the US Constitution was protecting your right to worship, and express yourself. This should be a rude awakening of what has happened to these freedoms over the last two years.

Most of us should have understood that the far leftist that took over the DNC have a deeply rooted hatred for Christians in general, and Catholics in particular, when they used the Covid pandemic to close places of worship, and forbade us to worship, which are  fundamental rights the government is not supposed to infringe upon.

Here on Guam, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, abused her emergency powers to erect military checkpoints on major roadways, and weaponized the DPHSS to close churches.

The leaders of  the Catholic Church remained silent for way too long, until the pastor of Victory Chapel refused to follow the order, and when Fr Paul Gofigan in an homily (on a livestream that went viral, and taken by alternate medias like kandit news) ranted that if you could go to Kmart, the grocery stores and Home Depot because they were deemed essential businesses, churches were also essential for the well being of the faithful. Only then did Archbishop Byrnes intervened and the DPHSS negotiated a process to reopen the churches.

The damage was done none the less, and Lou Leon Guerrero and her anti christian acolytes in her administration had dealt a blow to Catholics and their families, all over Guam. The consequences on Children, families and our elders are still felt today.

Remember this when you go to vote for the next Governor of Guam, do not let people who like Joe Biden and Lou Leon Guerrero pretend to be Catholic, but actually oppose all what the Church stands for, abuse your goodwill. Remember that the most prominent advocate of infanticide on Guam is the current governor.  Come judgement day Our Father might ask you: "what have you done with your talent"?

Nurse can satisfy abortion requirement

The published letter is copied below with links added for references. 

The ACLU’s argument in its suit against the Government of Guam is that in-person consultation relative to Guam’s law requiring informed consent for abortion prevents the administration of “medication abortion through telemedicine.” (Guam Daily Post, Sept. 19, 2022)

The law requires that certain information be provided to a woman seeking an abortion, and be provided in person by the attending physician or by another qualified person.

The only reason telemedicine is necessary, and thus the suit, is because no doctor on Guam, including those who publicly support abortion access, are willing to provide the required information to women.

But the law says by a physician “or another qualified person.” So why not a nurse? In fact, why not Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero, a registered nurse?

This is a perfect campaign opportunity for the governor.

There is no other issue that she is more publicly passionate about. And given no physician or other qualified person is willing to do it, by providing this service to women, she will lead by example and save the government many thousands of dollars by avoiding a lawsuit.

Recently obtained reports show that there have been approximately 3 abortions per month via telemedicine. The governor could easily fit in 3 hours per month to meet with the women she says she cares about.

APPELLANT'S OPENING BRIEF IN THE ACLU MATTER

Deputy Attorney General James Canto II's Brief is excellent and should be read by anyone who cares about presenting solid arguments for life in the womb. 

It is not necessary to "throw religious bombs." They don't work anyway. And they don't work because the pro-aborts are expecting them and ready to discard them with their usual "separation of church and state" rhetoric. 

Pray, yes. But work to win by knowing how to craft legal arguments, and just as important, learn how to present those arguments in a strategic way. 

The Esperansa Project, between 2008 and 2016, initiated and shepherded eight bills regulating abortion that were enacted into law by staying away from religious and even scientific arguments and focusing on legal precedent and shaping public opinion...as well as exposing what was going on behind closed doors in the legislature.

The race between Senator Aguon, a staunch defender of the unborn, and former Senator Lou Leon Guerrero-Cook, the most radical pro abortion advocate in the history of our territory; turned to the advantage of the pro death candidate by a mere 300 votes. 

Our Home Island, which is still 85% Catholic, and 97% Christian chose a candidate for the Democratic Party, who was an unabashed activist for the death of innocent children.

By November 2018, Lou Leon Guerrero-Cook defeated the tainted Republican candidate and his running mate, after a lackluster campaign, where the Bank executive, and richest person on island was omnipresent, in all the local medias, thanks to a network of internet Bots, complacent local written and TV medias.

We even saw the local AM morning talk show Host Patty Arroyo unilaterally side with LLG, while her sister who at the time was a key member of the now defunct Catholic Radio, accepted the post of Press secretary for the candidate. I guess these ladies don't understand the concept of "Conflict of Interests", while also joining the disjointed Catholics who pretend to be pro-life, but don't wish to "impose their personal point of view on the public at large"(aka hypocrits extraordinaire)

How had we arrived to such a disastrous situation?

*First of all: as the old American adage reminds us : "Money walks, and BS talks"

The huge amount of money poured in the race by LLG had never been seen in the history of this island.

Basically the CEO of the Bank of Guam bought her way to the top of the Democratic Party ticket.

*Second, as the DNC did on the mainland, the LLG Campaign allied itself with the radicals on the island, who voted massively for her in the primary, and in the main election. The Cabal of the pro-independence movement, smartly disguised as the movement for decolonization, with its fiercely anti-catholic leaders such as Won Pat, Bevacqua, Underwood, Cristobal, Perez, and Marsh "Taitano". These people often conveniently wearing the Ecologist Hat, of the wacko radicals, specially when it comes to items inside the wire, are not many. Perhaps 5 to 6 thousands, but they are dedicated  and virulent. During the primary they became essential to putting the current governor over the line, against Aguon. The Choice of an openly gay running mate also brought to the LLG camp single issue voters lured by the fake inclusive camp.

*Third, the Republican Candidate was not only damaged goods going in the process, but he and his running mate did not run a viable campaign. They did not attack Lou on the many items where she is weak and/or contradicting herself. Most interestingly, they totally failed to call her on her stance for abortion, cleverly disguised as "a woman health issue" (as if killing an innocent child is a health issue) Only did they mention anything on the subject, just days before the final vote.  Way too little and too late.

*Fourth and last. That is the Elephant in the room. The newly minted Archbishop of Agatna was totally absent in the process. His right hand man at the time (Fr Richards) came up with the lame excuse that they could not risk the Church Tax exemption Status. We strongly criticized that sitting on the fence at the time in these pages, but the clergy sat that one out. Not only did they sit it out, but they brow beated the few brave ladies who dared raise the issue. The pro life movement had been rendered muted and mutted by a volontary lack of leadership.

What did we learned from this disastrous election cycle 4 years ago?

We learned several things:

1: Do not count on the local media to give you an unbiased point of view, based on facts, not fiction.

2: Do not count on our local religious leaders to help you make the right moral choice.

3: Do your own research about each candidate, Do not be influenced by fancy advertising

4: Learn how to read between the lines, of the double talk of the politicians.

If you do not want your personal values to be hijacked by anti family, anti religious, and immoral special interests activist groups,  become an informed and responsible member of the community by choosing people to represent you, that share your beliefs.

YOU KNOW TROUBLE IS COMING, WHEN YOUR ALLIES START TO COME AT YOU.

Bishop Barron the very mediatic, some say charismatic (in the secular sense) Auxilliary Bishop of Los Angeles. A cleric present on almost any form of media, the founder and promoter of the successful program "Word on fire", was recently elevated to the title of  Bishop of the Winona- Rochester Diocese (South East Minnesota), by Pope Francis.

Many speculated that this promotion, might be a punishment in disguise, for being too successful, and at times too independent from his brother bishops of the USCCB. It has been heard in some corridors that some of the more radical leftist members of the USCCB, who have grown extremely wealthy from their unholy alliance with very controversial "Catholic" members of the Democratic party; were particularly unhappy with some of his positions, as well as his large reach into the Catholic Online Community.

The Church receiving literally billions of dollars from the federal government, through its social services, like Catholic Charities and a multitude of other charities groups, for handling the flow of illegal immigrants and other social re organisation outfits. This has in turn created large fiefdoms in Archdioceses in large urban areas. This was spearheaded by former Cardinal of Washington DC, Mc Carrick, who has been disgraced 4 years ago,following a set of revelations about his long and depraved life of sexual abuse.

None the less, former Cardinal Mc Carrick had a long and successful path, thanks to his ability to raise funds, and his hobnobbing with important politicians on the East Coast. Facts that he was able to parley into his own promotion at the Vatican, and a high profile which allowed him to become a de-facto King maker within the USCCB. This is how he promoted a sizeable group of Bishops, Archbishops and Cardinals.

Most importantly he made sure to grow near every "Catholic" politico in Washington DC, including but not limited to  Nancy Pelosi and Joseph Biden. There was a definite tit for tat, with all these powerful political figures, which ultimately led to an embarrassing silence from most of US Bishops when said politicos drifted further and further to the left, on most social issues, including gay marriage and of course Abortion.

These corrupted relationships have led us to where we are now, with the current Cardinal of DC, a protege of Mc Carrick refusing to even criticize the president of the USA when he wraps himself in his "Catholic faith" to support Abortion, which even our extremely liberal Pope calls a sin of the gravest kind.

This why is was particularly surprising to read in the Pilot, the official paper of the Archdiocese of Boston a stirring column by the newly minted Bishop of Winona-Rochester, denouncing the scandalous position of the President of the United States...

The surprise is even bigger because it happened with the obvious authorization of Cardinal O'Malley, another liberal prince of the Church, who also is one of the biggest backer of the NCW.

This is a welcome development, even if I don't hold my breath waiting for a change of attitude from the Bishops of the USCCB, towards the scandalous positions of our so called Catholic politicos.

Here on Guam, we are still to hear any form of criticism from our Church leaders about the continuous, arrogant and scandalous promotion of abortion by Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, and some of the key members of her administration.

We know that Archbishop Byrnes initiated a first step, with a personal and private letter to the governor, demanding that she mend her ways on the subject. In the meantime, nothing has happened. As the Archbishop is off island, with no plan to come back, we certainly should not expect much from our chancery.

A NEW SEMINARY IN ANOTHER U.S. TERRITORY?

This post continues to draw the most views by far. 

We have no evidence yet that the continued interest in O'Malley, at least on this blog, has anything to do with what appears to be O'Malley's renewed push to establish another Redemptoris Mater seminary in another U.S. Territory to replace Guam's.

But...

Earlier this year, a youngish, bearded priest, with a thick Spanish accent showed up at Holy Cross parish in Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Another priest confirmed that the new priest was from Boston and had been sent to St. Croix by O'Malley, the archbishop of Boston, and host to a Redemptoris Mater seminary. The priest also confirmed that the Spanish priest from Boston was "in the Neo." 

O'Malley formerly was the archbishop of the Virgin Islands but has no authority there now. So it was curious how O'Malley could "assign" a priest from his diocese to the diocese of the Virgin Islands. The timing was curious given that a new bishop, originally from Africa, was appointed bishop of the Virgin Islands and was said to be very supportive, if not enthusiastic, about the Neocatechumenal Way. 

And then the Spanish priest from Boston shows up. 

After a few weeks in Christiansted, the Spanish priest moved to St. Ann's Parish in Barronspot, St. Croix, a parish known for its departure from tradition and its pentecostal type worship. A perfect place to grow "the Neo." 

Given that Guam closed down the Redemptoris Mater Seminary here and the Neo-controlled Apuron ran away, it appears that O'Malley and friends are looking to replace what they had in Guam with a new foothold in the Virgin Islands with a bishop who, like Apuron, will either do their bidding or at least not get in the way.

Something was never quite right about "Dawn Marie's" stated reason for departing Guam after fifty years.

Really? 

Isn’t the whole charism of contemplative orders such as the Carmelites to war against the “toxic environment” of this fallen world by their very presence and way of life in the very midst of the “toxic environment” left us by the fall of our first parents?

Isn't this the reason "our" Carmelites were invited to Guam in the first place in 1966?

And the “environment” of the Catholic Church in Guam was NEVER more “toxic” than it was in 2016 when the accusations against Apuron first began to surface: casting Guam's Catholic Church into its deepest and most terrible, "toxic" crisis. 

And it was in the midst of this CRISIS that the same "Dawn Marie" abandoned Guam and all its Faithful, many of whom (and their families) had sacrificially supported "our" Carmelites for decades. 

And:

Why is Mother Dawn now in Neocat-friendly Boston and NOT with her nuns...the nuns from Guam who she appears to have abandoned to (dumped at) a "home" in California:

“After 50 years of prayer for the island's faithful, the Carmelite order celebrated their final mass on June 14 of this year and, the next day, left for their new home in California, Marie said yesterday.” - ibid

As their prioress, Mother Dawn was consecrated to protect and provide for those nuns, many of whom are long-suffering daughters of Guam, and who were given no voice about their uprooting and being deposited and ultimately abandoned (by Dawn) on the other side of the world. 

But now "Dawn" is running free in neocat-friendly Boston. 

Why?
