A LAWSUIT WILL BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES, AAA.

So last week AAA called a meeting with the presbyteral council. At the meeting AAA trotted out Jackie Terlaje to do another smear job on Msgr. James, or rather, to try Msgr. James in absentia.

At least one priest stood up and asked AAA if he had yet spoken with Msgr. James about the matters he seems to be so perpetually concerned with. AAA did not answer.

Meanwhile, while Jackie Terlaje and her pathetic little crew scratch in the dirt to find more crap to smear Msgr. James with and other likewise pathetic little people wail on and on about the money from the tourist donation box, the rest of us have not forgotten about AAA's 40 million dollar fraud perpetuated on the trusting Catholics of Guam.

Item No. 5 was the matter of assigning the title of the old Accion Hotel property to RMS.

Richard Untalan, president of the AFC, had already removed Item 5 from the agenda. But while he was being chastised by Apuron and accused of "nonsense" on 12/6/11, AAA had already assigned control of the property to RMS on 11/22/11, something we only learned about a few weeks ago.  The following is from a recent title report. The full title report will be made available soon.

Upon his return to Guam, AAA fires Mr. Untalan after many years of faithful service. It would be 3 years before Mr. Untalan and the others who were fired from the AFC would learn that Apuron had already done the dirty deed.

Two months later, Apuron receives a letter from Archbishop Balvo, the Apostolic Delegate, and is told he CANNOT do as he wishes and in the matter of the assignment of property he MUST have the consent of the finance council as well as that of the college of consultors. Of course AAA not only had neither, he secretly signed over the control of the property to RMS and then chastised and fired Richard Untalan for doing what was his duty.

See Archbishop Balvo's full letter here.

So AAA, you go ahead with your little inquisition of Msgr. James. Go ahead and carry on your pathetic little war against the priests and people of this diocese. In the end, a lawsuit is the least of your worries.

  1. Nope. Not forgotten at all Archbishop. And it is clear you have not forgotten either. We can tell you are really losing your hair over Yona. Did you make another appointment with Our Holy Father Pope Francis while you were in Manila? Or were you so very close, yet so far away. Tick Tock, Tick Tock. Maybe he saw you pulling the plastic hood over your face and will give you a call. He rather likes making cold calls. Does he have your cell? Mr. Toves does. He may have given your number to the Pope.

  2. Isn't it that the Archdiocese of Agana is the owner of the Yona property now known as the RMS Seminary with the Archbishop of Agana only the trustee? If so, would that make a difference?
Something like me being the president of a corporation, but not necessarily the owner? What did the title say before it was deeded in perpetuity to the Neos?

  4. I hope the Tres Reyes (Three Kings) are keeping an eye out on the continuous smear campaign upon Msgr. James and other priests who question or speak up on issues in the Archdiocese. Such a sad state of affairs going on and that change train better be on its way!

  5. Inquiring minds want to know: According to the 2014 Real Property Tax Assessment Roll just released, the property where St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church in Dededo sits lists the owner of LOT M05 L5019-A-3-R5 as the Archdiocese of Agana (doc 1446205037) while the owner of LOT M05 L5019-A-3-5 lists the owner as Apuron, Anthony Sablan, OFM (doc 1446213160). As was done with the Yona property, did AAA transfer ownership of the Korean church property to himself personally? Or maybe Deacon Kim or his Kimchee friends? This reeks of smelly kimchee.....NASTY! Tony is playing hide-and-go-seek again! Say it ain't so!!

    3. All bishops I talk with place diocesan property in the name of the roman Catholic bishop of the the diocese. No bishop places church property in their own name. Very unusual actions of the Guam archbishop.

  8. I wonder if AAA goes to confession every day to cleanse his soul and so that's why he doesn't care what people say or do..he already confessed to it and was given his penance.

    1. He sees no need to confess and repent because his NCW masters tell him God loves him just the way he his. AAA did report, after seeing the pope in Korea, that the pope told him to continue doing what he's been doing.

    1. Somehow the feeling is not the same showing up for Mass only to see a presbyter who can't deliver a decent homily. SMH

    2. This Sunday, go to Mass to celebrate the Eucharist. Above being mindful and active in all that is going on in our Archdiocese, the best thing for Catholics to remain Catholic is to be Catholic. That is, pray, confess and receive Christ through the Eucharist.

Go to Mass in a state of grace to worship and receive Christ. Then, after Mass, go forth in communion with Christ and remain diligent and resilient in this struggle.

I am not just talking platitudes and ideals, this is the Christian reality. We will all suffer and struggle in this life, but we must keep our focus on Christ. Myself, I am constantly in need of this reminder.

A few years ago, Tim introduced me to a great book written by one Dom Lorenzo Scupoli, The Spiritual Combat. Pick this book up and challenge yourself with Dom Scupoli's words. It is available in digital format, in reprint and online. I truly pray that you at least do a search for this book.

  10. In reference to accountability, how many parishes now function without a parish council or similar advisory board? Is this being pushed from the Hill?

    1. The Answer to this question is, now instead of the Pastor preparing and focusing on the spiritual aspects of the parish, preparing and expounding the substance of the Gospel to nourish the people God through a meaningful homily he now spends most of his time managing the mamon and the logistical aspects of the parish and winging the homily at mass. It is no wonder many of the sheep leave the banquet of the Lord unnnourished, and eventually lost.

Without a Parish council there is no longer any check and balance, the pastor has free reign and control of all aspects of the parish, this in my opinion is an invitation for improprieties to occur.

  11. An Open Letter to Archbishop Apuron:

    Dear Archbishop Apuron,

I hope you were able to listen to Pope Francis' recent message on the role of fathers. It is one that resonates with families, in the traditional and pastoral sense. Though I am not a father, I can easily connect to the Pope's words because for years growing up in this archdiocese - we have had no "Father." Instead we have a man, dressed in the cloth and takes on the title of Shepherd, who has been absent from his ministry as pastor and father to us all.

"Firstly, fathers need to be present in the family," said Pope Francis. This brought me to tears as I knew at that instance our church on Guam was lacking a father. Like a father who constantly leaves his children, you have done the same. After Sunday Masses, you jet off to your next appointment. You speed through Christmas and Easter Masses to get to your other "community" to celebrate with them. Over the years you have failed to be present among us to share in our joys, in our sufferings, in our pain, and in our triumphs as a family.

For this reason, we have not grown as a church family. Rather, we find ourselves struggling to survive, looking for guidance, and struggling to find a place in our very own home.

"The father is always present," reminded Pope Francis.

The recent controversies in our church have been troubling and trying not only for you, but for all of us as well. We find ourselves fighting with each other, defending our positions, and seeking truth in the way of the True Church - not a particular ecclesiastical movement. Whether clergy or laity, we must all be held accountable for our actions but a father must always treat his children with dignity. In this regard the handling of Fr. Paul, Msgr. James, and other priests who have gone or may still be here was just outright wrong. As a father, in your meager attempt to maintain your "fatherly role," you treated them unjustly and unfairly. No child should ever have to experience being slapped in the face publicly and in a manner that takes away their dignity and threatens their ability to minister.

Pope Francis had this to say, "The father who knows how to correct without demeaning is the same who knows how to protect unstintingly."

Archbishop, you know that your priests will never be able to seek your aid and protection. Unless they hope to be incardinated or are loyal to you because of their membership in the Neo Catechumenal Way. Because you see, your absence and your actions, have rewritten the definition of obedience in the religious and cultural contexts. The faithful on Guam are no longer settling for what was "culturally acceptable" to never question the archbishop or the church. As a people, pleading to find a father for us, we can no longer be pushed to the side, abandoned, or left to fend for ourselves.

Though I remain anonymous, for now, I can no longer accept that is happening within our church and the public perception as a result of our infighting. For too long and for too many, families are struggling to find a relation and relevance with a faith that was planted here over 400 years ago and a Church that has withstood the seasons for over 2,000 years.

Like an abandoned child, or a child with an abusive father, or a child whose father is negligent, or a father selective of his children, or an absent father, at some point that child must find something or someone to be a new and more suitable father. A father who will be a "mediator[s] of faith in goodness and justice, and of the protection of God."

I continue to offer my prayers for you, archbishop, and our hurting church. St. Joseph, Pray for Us.

  12. Is seven years required for an entity to solely took care of the property before a PETITION FOR QUIT DEED could be filed, if the present owner does not dispute the claims . IT SEEMS LIKE THIS RECORDS OF DEEDS IS NULL & VOID !

  13. i know almost nothing about real estate transactions and all the legalities surrounding them. but if i understand this correctly, in the eyes of civil law, the transfer of the rms property is legit and binding--effectively a giveaway to the neocat organization. this is because archbishop apuron is the corporation sole. therefore, under the civil laws of guam and the united states, that property is lost "in perpetuity," taken away from the non-neocat Catholics of guam. is this correct?

the next archbishop probably will not be sympathetic to the neocats, perhaps refusing to recognize the seminary and refusing to ordain its seminarians. so what will become of the rms property? will it just graduate seminarians who'd be ordained for some other dioceses?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Correct, the property is forever in the control of the Board of Guarantors of RMS. And the Board of Guarantors is forever in the control of the Neocatechumenal Way Responsible Team for the U.S. (as per its articles and its by laws).

The property is a giant white elephant. It is too big and it demands too much maintenance. Thousands that could be better spent on a quality faculty are spent just trying to keep the place up.

Once Apuron is gone, the seminary will shut down, but the RMS corp. will still control it. They will use it as a bargaining chip.

    2. Even when Apuron is removed the cult will use seminary to control Guam. it will take at least ten years after Apuron to clean up his shit. It can be done for the people of Guam will claim back what is rightly theirs.

  14. What most of us are oblivious to, is that these seminarians will be incarnated for Guam. This means that these are priests that can be assigned by the Archbishop to ALL parishes on Guam, and there is nothing any of us can do about it! They are already in 7 or more parishes, and only now are some people waking up to the Neo plan to staff all of our parishes with Neo priests. God Forbid.

    ReplyDelete
  15. It is not just the RMS priests who will man the parishes but also NCW members will take charge of parish councils, ministries of the parish etc.
The some priests will be assigned to other dioceses a 'loan' priests under the NCW itinerancy program.

  16. So, Tim, from your comments @Feb 06, 4:29 p.m. above, I gather that we have no legal recourse of getting the RMS property back. Is there any other recourse left for us?
