LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO WEIGH IN HERE

Posted by Tim

There's been some back and forth about whether or not we should proceed with the picket tomorrow. Look, here's the deal. If you don't want to join the picket then don't. But don't tell other people what they should and shouldn't do.

No one is forcing anyone to picket so if you don't want to picket and you want to go to the Mass then do it. The problem here is that those who think they need to go to the Mass to "support Fr. Paul" think that it is their duty to convince others to do the same. This is the very "neo-think" we are fighting against.

And I also want to make another thing EXTREMELY CLEAR...AGAIN. Fr. Paul redefined what he meant by "restore." Unfortunately, he DID NOT bother to notify the rest of us. I was EXTREMELY OFFENDED when he did this, so I will NOT be supporting Fr. Paul.

As I previously laid out in my post ORCHESTRATED - PART 6 (Aug 3, 2016), Fr. Paul's statement to KUAM at Hon's July 27 press conference was in direct contradiction to the facts.

Gofigan: Basically he stated what I wanted, what I stated three years ago when I wrote a letter through my canon lawyer to retract the accusations and also to restore me and what that word restore means is really to clear my name and this is basically what he did today. He cleared my name and formally stated that after further review (of the evidence) he found no evidence to say that I was formally disobedient.

As most of you know, I spent three long lonely years fighting for what Fr. Paul REALLY wrote to his canon lawyer, a canon lawyer who others paid for.

I'm not going to say Fr. Paul lied, but he changed the facts to fit what made him feel good and left the rest of us standing out in the sun and the rain.

I'm sorry to have to bring this up again. I intended to move on, particularly after Fr. Paul trashed me on his Facebook page. However, perhaps you can see why I and others have no interest in "supporting Fr. Paul."

If you want to do it, then do it. But then go join Fr. Paul's group, whatever that is. We take this war extremely seriously. For those who want to play nice, then go play with your friends and leave the fight to the those who are willing to do it.

I see where the CCOG is willing to give donations back to those who think they are entitled to tell the rest of us what to do because they donated to the CCOG.

Eileen, I see that you no longer support our cause. As Treasurer of the CCOG I have been authorized to refund whatever amount you donated. Please advise me on that amount and where to send the check.

  1. People can do whatever they want. Father Paul is certainly doing what he wants. Hon is doing what he wants. What do you want? What I want is to protest until justice is done. Acknowledge the victims of sexual abuse and rape by Apuron. Defrock Apuron, David, Adrian and deport Pius. Rebuke Bibi and Marian for supporting a Bishop they knew in their heart of hearts was destroying this Archdiocese. Remove from the Diaconate The Two Dakon Claros and Tenorio. All above mentioned are LIARS, SCHEMERS and just plain EVIL. Then, and this is my favorite part, relocate the Guam NCW communities to the North Pole Community.
Call it a picket or a protest or a picnic but I encourage all to stand firm and continue the fight. We are in this together and we should help and encourage each other to see this through until the end. There will be casualties like Eileen and Tommy but they probably really didnt understand exactly what this picnic is all about. Lets take a moment to remember our fallen comrades. See you all tomorrow!

    1. I resent being referred to as a "casualty." I still
support the efforts of CCOG. It saddens me to think that among ourselves we cannot disagree. We should all be free to express our opinions without being vilified. What this tells me is that if we do not agree wholeheartedly with what the CCOG does, we cannot be counted among those who want our archdiocese restored to what it was before Apuron took over and began to destroy our archdiocese with the Neos.

    2. Sorry Eileen. But you accused the CCOG of disrespecting the Mass. Looks like people took you seriously.

    3. Eileen, I resent you referring to me as disrepectful to the Mass. Its not about agreeing whole heartedly with CCOG. It's about you offending people with your pious statements calling everyone who protests tomorrow during Mass, disrespectful. Sorry but if you think that then you really don't know what this fight is about. Yes a casualty. We lost you to Hon and his schemes, to the fence sitters and 9:30 am Mass goers. Don't forget ur Limosna dear.

  2. Some want to skip or break the picket to "congratulate Fr. Paul." Are congratulations in order for doing nothing other than ride wave that you created, Tim?

  3. Gerald,
I see that my comments have been misunderstood. I do not wish my donations to be refunded and am hurt that you thought this is what I wanted. I only mentioned my donations to show that I cared enough to donate money. I did not intend to imply that my donations meant I could tell CCOG what to do. I am literally in tears over this misunderstanding. I never said I no longer support CCOG. I still support the efforts of CCOG snd hope that if I join the pickets on future Sundsys that my presence will be accepted.

    1. Sometimes writing too many words can get people to misunderstand what you are trying to say. You do not have to justify your decision. If you had just said - "I am going to the mass to support Father Gofigan", people would not have been sensitive to your comments but you went on and on and then jumped on some who posted as "Anonymous". Some people do not know how to put their names on the postings. I, for one, appreciate all postings, Anonymous or Named.

  4. Please, please let's stop this bickering back and forth... some of you may NOT agree with me but why can't we all just agree to disagree on certain issues....WE ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT THE NEOS WANT US TO DO..IT'S CALLED REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY!!! Remember,WE are all fighting for the same cause..

    1. No, it is you who are doing that. The picketers were minding their business until all of you who want to "agree to disagree" barged on to this blog and announced your intentions to "support Fr. Paul" over the picket, and then went so far as to call the picketers disrespectful. Let's be clear. There is no "arguing amongst ourselves" because by attacking those on our side you are not "amongst ourselves." Why don't you all go start your own little "Fr. Paul support group" and leave the rest of us to do the real work.

  5. I still think it's disrespectful. If the picketers are comfortable with their actions, that's all that should matter to them . My intent was not to anger anyone. I apologize to those who took offense at my personal opinion.

    1. How much farther down the long road to victory have you moved us with your personal opinion, Eileen?

    2. You are only seeing it your way. You are being disrespectful to the mission of the real catholics of Guam. People like you will lessen the force that is trying to correct wrongs the were perpetual against the our Church. Go join Putrid and the rest of the NEO'S. If in the future this neo chap is not resolved, it will be because of people like you who will disrespect the cause of our mission. Go support the Apuron, he will be watching to see all his converted supporters like you.

    3. Eileen this is exactly the perception the neos want for their propaganda.

    4. You think it's disrespectful because it's not in accordance with what you feel is right for you? If you don't agree with the actions of others then that's where it should end. But now to describe those actions as disrespectful is really similar to sticking your nose in the air at people who thought you were fighting for the same cause as they were. On top of that, in a previous post topic, you're all of a sudden a bully to those remaining anonymous, just because they didn't agree with you. Sounds like how the neos deflect and attack when they have no better argument to make.

    5. Eileen, join the protesters and picketers on any Sunday; you know the schedule. But you must resolve within your heart that you will accept the cause, which is right. There really is nothing to question or to critique about how the picket is to held, and even if there is the Pope saying the 9:30 AM mass at the CB, the picket still goes on, till our objectives are met. Just keep your opinions to yourself like a good soldier would. We have this unwritten but demonstrably strong "Obedience" to our Cause. All we have gotten so far is window-dressing. Not enough, unfortunately. We all wish that Archbishop Hon stopped beating around the bushes, and just do the right things, which equates to the four R's: Restore (Msgr. James' and Fr. Paul's good name and return them to their previous pastoral posts; Rector ain't quite good enough, even though Fr. Paul is happy with it); Return (the property in Yona, and now include shutting down that sham of a seminary; Remove Apuron (Defrock him!); and Restitution and Justice for the Sex Abuse Victims of Apuron, Bouillard, and maybe other clergy members! To accomplish all the above, AB Hon needs to be serious about retiring Adrian Cristobal and David Quitugua, former vicar general. He's kicked out Pius the Putrid Monk, so that is a start! We must also demand that these priests who came out of that seminary in Yona be removed as pastors, because they lack the character to really be good pastors. What happened to Hon's request for all pastors to submit their courtesy resignations? He has the opportunity to take care of the RESTORE and get rid of the Neo priests in the villages where they are based.

As the saying goes: Speak too much, too many problems. Speak a little, little problems. Don't speak at all, no problems! Picketing and Protesting next Sunday! Motorcade on Saturday--Yigo Gym gathering spot at 9:00 AM, I believe.

  6. Pondering on the idea of laity really effecting change. Seems that clericalism is at play here. Fr Jeff, Lito, the 'presbyteral council' have regained their long lost footing and they are exclusively working what they want with Hon. From the choice of Jeff as sheriff to the appointment of Fr Paul and all the other changes coming down the road have all been done behind closed doors and we have to eat what they prepared for us. Clericalism. Plain and simple. Shame on you Jeff. Always with the people of God on the tip of your tongue. You are a trained administrator.

    1. 5:29 AM. Please clarify what you mean by clericalism. If you want to get involved in decisions that are traditionally made by clergy, talk to Father Jeff if you want to join in the meetings and help in decision-making. It is quite easy to make accusations that merely fan the flames. Please say exactly what you want to happen and mention them to appropriate channels. Like me, you probably do not want to fight for a church wherein you leave the clergy out of the equation and promote anarchy! We need them, so we have to work with them! They need your help because they never wanted to be in this mess, and they are trying in ways they know how. We cannot afford to casually throw accusations here and there to incite mob mentality. Please be reasonable, be candid, be sincere - these meetings are tedious as they probably are, to undo much of the damages Apuron and his staff brought on the Archdiocese that he did not care about. Think through what you say, and ask yourself if you are willing to be part of a change, willing enough to constructively express your opinion in a mature and respectful way. Peace!

    1. We all wish its as easy as you snap a finger. Most of us want the goals you describe, but unfortunately there are other pieces that need to be dealt with. It may not be moving as quickly as we want but we have to keep the momentum ourselves.

  8. Eileen has a right to voice her opinion. If we don't agree with her opinion, we just move on. What happen to respect towards each other. Let's stop bickering. What good is it.? Let's remember the many good comments Eileen has contributed in the past. Let's stop hurting each other. Let's keep fighting for the good of our church. I thank God we have people who give up their precious time, effort and resources to fight injustice and bring our one true Catholic church back. We need to get rid of bishop & clergy who have abused their power, and caused pain and injury to victims of child sexual molestation. Let's continue to fight until our work is done.

    1. Let's be clear. There is no right to voice an opinion on my blog. The only opinions that appear on this blog are the ones that I permit. And, as anyone who has read this blog for the last three years will know, I permit all sorts of slander and hate against me personally, even threats. For those on our side (or who say they are) the forum for disagreement is NOT on this blog. We have made many adjustments to our strategy, and all of it has come from personal and professional conversations.

I am copying here a comment from someone close to Hon:

"There was an attempt this week to stop protestors. Thank God it did not work. Today, greater number. Hon thought it would stop this week."

    2. Hafa Hon, what next? We are on to your shenanigans. Stop playing your games as we are not playing around. Our struggle is real and we will fight on until all is right, with or without you.

    3. - 4:07 - Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion but to go on and disrespect other people's opinions is not right. That is why it is called an "Opinion". You state what it is and YOU move on.

    4. Tim, I thought you said it's not your blog anymore, that you were giving it up, that others were largely taking it over. If so people should have the right to express their thoughts without being dictated to.

    6. Tim at 6:31 PM closed his comment with an interesting message — "There was an attempt this week to stop protestors. Thank God it did not work. Today, greater number. Hon thought it would stop this week." — that reminded me of another comment made by the Apostolic Administrator on 12 June. On that day, after turning his back on sexual assault survivor Walter Denton, the Apostolic Administrator announced to the congregation at the 9:30 Mass that there were protestors outside and hopefully in two weeks this will die down.

Today, 4 September, was the 13th week of picketing. And, like on 26 June, which marked the Two Weeks of the Apostolic Administrator's 12 June prediction, the Church Militants did not do as he expected.

Given the popularity of Fr. Paul AND considering how many of us had waited 3 years for him to be vindicated, the Apostolic Administrator probably counted on people wanting to "celebrate" with Fr. Paul enough to lay down the signs and go into the church for the 9:30 Mass.

Sure, there were some who did exactly as the Apostolic Administrator hoped BUT there were many more who HONestly were not willing to play his game. Some had been reading this blog for months and, by the Grace of God, decided TODAY was the day to come out, pick up a sign and walk the picket line.

Twice the Apostolic Administrator thought we would stop and twice we have come back stronger than before. I'm not sure how long it will take for him to recognize that Sunday mornings will find members of the Church Militant in front of the Cathedral-Basilica 0900-0945, sending our messages to DEFROCK APURON for the world — including "Rome" — to see.

    7. Eileen did not only have an opinion. She had an agenda. The Holy Spirit had an agenda too. I chose the latter agenda and I am very encouraged by what I witnessed yesterday - The Holy Spirit at work!

I never have been dictated to express my thoughts by anybody here in Jungle Watch. I talk by my own. And I do it because Tim Rohr invited me. He never has said to me what do I have to think/not think or write/not write.
